I’m not about link wars dude. The original blog post had mad links ,USmc posted some that he found that didn’t correlate, only the author should come back with more links to counter those links, and then usmc can do a quick google search again and then post more links.
And a lot of what I replied to does not need someone else to tell you it’s true or not. Try and think logically, with a bit of common sense.
For example - believing that dish washers, dryers, vacuum cleaners, etc didn’t cut down a massive house wife workload is asinine. It’s just being absolutely stupid for the sake of stupid. That’s not worth me going to go find some other person with an opinion that you may find an authority on the subject to convince you.
Or you could ignore me, since you’re the one getting all spun up. My only request is that you don’t email me pictures. Other than that, whale away! Trailer trash (that’s kind of funny, because I don’t think I come off as having come from the 'park…not that there’s anything wrong with it, but I think it’s a stretch), stupid as fuck, hag…whatever you want to come up with. Do your super-duper angry best!
(See how when you insult, I condescend? That’s our jam, mine and yours. Stop flailing your little fists that a chick is talking to you disrespectfully and begin acting like someone deserving of respect.)
I’m not here to discuss anything with you really, I’m back out of here again, I just meant that despite you being able to pick something out that you think is just common sense, literally nothing you said was anything but “cool, but I think this”, with nothing to back it up, and the reason you hate link wars is because you have to scour the internet for things that you can twist to your meaning, whereas everyone else just uses actual sources. It’s like when you said ESPN was dying, I showed you that it came #1 in ratings for ages 18-49, and you didn’t accept it. Your personal feelings are always going to trump reason or facts, which is why I can’t do this anymore. Toodloo!
Since this seems to be such a common theme around these parts let me go ahead and address this nonsense.
First, he was posting for @BrickHead so I’m not sure what he wanted from me exactly since no matter what I did there’d be just us going in circles like we did over the nursing thing.
Second, point by point just for you flap
Are these my words? I can’t find where I said this.
Yes, to him it doesn’t. But that doesn’t make it not genital mutilation to a lot of other people.
Quick google you or anyone else could have done. I knew about this from before, Bill Maher talks about it, I always give the benefit of the doubt to so many people that they’d at some point would have heard or read or watched stuff but I keep making the same mistake. Anyways, there’s entire campaigns now to classify male circumcision as serious as female genital mutilation.
USMC believing it is or not doesn’t really matter here does it.
Yes, I don’t think he got the point. We been over this a few times. Just because there are some dudes that look masculine doesn’t mean the archetypes of that era are prevalent in todays movies and tv shows. I think the author goes too far to say they’re all but gone so I agree with USMC on that front.
How would you want me to prove this to you? I did a quick google look up
The first National Single Cougars Convention is scheduled for the end of August in Silicon Valley, the Cougar Den is a popular skit on “Saturday Night Live” and Courteney Cox will star in a new TV show, “Cougar Town,” on ABC this fall. Since 2005, when Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher popularized the relationship of an older woman and a younger man, it seems the U.S. has become obsessed with calling women cougars and that popular culture is capitalizing on the slang.
Demi and Ashton Kutcher’s relationship exploded into celebrity culture in 2005, so almost about the time the “cougar” shit started to pop up. Once again I’m dead on the fucking money lol
Well, yeah. I took biology, anthropology in college, and my high school had an entire semester on evolution. I’d think this is common knowledge… again, stupid me for assuming.
Went over this one already.
I’ll admit finding this article has been harder than I thought. Will have to come back to this later.
Yes, I don’t think they will. Think with your brain my friend, how often do women openly tell you how many men they’ve slept with? Isn’t it a big no no for a man to even ask that from a woman he’s dating or about to date? Again, I like to think some of these things are already KNOWN and agreed upon with no controversy. Maybe I’m wrong ?
Another way to think of this is Trump. I had a group of very conservative friends that I got into straight war with over the last election. I sat there with my little computer, kinda like @usmccds423 did here researching up and down, linking polls, looking at CNN. Fuck, even on election night I was so sure, and laughing at these friends of mine that said “Look dude, everyone around us is voting Trump and not admitting it. These polls are wrong.”
And fuck me they were right lol. Egg on my face.
There’s a lot of articles on this. You could google it.
This is my personal opinion.
It has. Now for what reasons, you can research that but it has to do with longevity which I think the author staters. Women live longer. Which is funny because he also talks about how men foot the bill, while women reap the reward.
Because women live longer, they end up taking back most of the benefits like social security and shit lol.
My personal opinion but there are links (some of which have been posted by Brick) that young men, especially boys are failing in most areas of life. Scroll back up. Now, you can tell me that is to do with other factors, which I’m sure other factors play a part, but a big one IN MY OPINION is the feminist agenda.
if you would like to point to me what I could have done better to satisfy you mr Flap please go ahead
Flapp, what do you do for a living? You work in a warehouse lifting boxes or something? Posting a link showing something like current ratings for a network doesn’t give you a full picture of what is actually happening at a company.
You need to understand context, history, of what is being talked about. ESPN was the only dominate force in sports network, but that’s not the case anymore, and from all accounts they have been floundering for a variety of reasons and is scrambling to restructure. The fact that you can’t do a simple google search and actually read articles by people that have delved into this matter and instead choose to look at something meaningless like last nights ratings brings into question a lot of your capabilities my guy.
A network that comes in #1 in ratings for viewers 18-49 at the end of 2019 is, by definition, not dying in January 2020. Wasn’t last nights ratings, it was the year-Long ratings, and they won. It’s just a fact. And I’ve already explained what I do, I’m a trade worker in rotogravure, using diamonds and lasers to engrave everything from Philip Morris to Heinz so it can be sent to printing companies. It doesn’t have any bearing on my ability to see what’s in front of me. And what you could do is just let me leave without trying to engage me.
Huh? You responded to my post to Brick. I don’t want anything from you, I have you on ignore.
The bottom line is, you either don’t read all that good or you just want to argue.
Jesus Christ, no where did I say technology didn’t cut down on chores and that wasn’t my point at all. It’s freaking laughable that he thinks the oven is why women are now able to enter the work force. It’s so crongy it was hard to even respond to.
The whole point of his BS about weddings was to say they’re more extravagant now than in the past, which is not true. The only thing more expensive now is the ring and does the author talk about availability of diamonds, ya know actual economics type stuff? No, of course not because the entire blog post shallow as hell.
Almost none of his links worked. The whole blog was his opinion. He didn’t back any of his assertions up with actual facts or data. He never explained how relationship dynamics cause high healthcare costs, the fall of Detroit, Cleveland, and Baltimore, or pretty much any of the things he said he was going to explain in his opening statement.

I don’t think it’s laughable. It’s his opinion that he thinks those technological advances were more important than whatever women rights movement was going on. He says :
Despite ‘feminists’ claiming that this is the fruit of their hard work, inventions like the vacuum cleaner, washing machine, and oven were the primary drivers behind liberating women from household chores and freeing them up to enter the workforce.
Maybe it’s you that can’t fucking read, dude.
And oh my word there’s a scholar that wrote a book about this
the 1800s, the mother in most American households worked at home surrounded by an average of six children. In a world without running water, central heating, and electricity, housework was laborious. But then, the Second Industrial Revolution introduced electricity and labor-saving household appliances. Additionally, the value of physical strength declined as machinery took over strenuous tasks. It’s not a stretch to say that these developments changed the division of labor in the home, liberating married women from household tasks and leading to a dramatic increase in their labor-force participation.
All your googling skills and you didn’t find this? Geeh guy.

What does availability of diamonds have to do with it? The success of diamonds as an engagement ring happened because of marketing. And where do you come off saying that weddings aren’t expensive today? Are you saying that every single wedding pre-modern times, or fuck, even before industrial revolution was more expensive? People were living in houses made of twigs trying to survive. You think they were spending money on weddings? Not everyone were duchesses and dukes my guy.

I don’t think that’s his fault. If you read the comment section the links were working at the time.
Most of it was utter was garbage.
No where did I ever think any of you were going to agree with it. I’m sure Brick feels the same.
you just said 'weddings more extravagant in the past than now" and you’re saying that isn’t true. how is that not true? who are you comparing to it in the past? royals and shit? the fuck.
dude simple simple google searches
Even adjusted for inflation, Americans spend a lot more on weddings today than they did 80 years ago.
And I don’t think the author of Misandry Bubble was talking anywhere close to the modern age.
This right here. This is literally the reason you are always so attacked on here. At any point you decide to turn a debate/discussion/argument into name calling, and (in my opinion worse) class demeaning shitfest; your argument is lost, and you turn every single person that sees this post against you. I truly gave you the benefit of the doubt, and just assumed from the few posts I’ve read that you were just a bit hard to take. That’s not the case at all. Do you even use this forum for any sort of physical health? Or is this just a mental outlet for you? What do you gain from arguing with strangers online to the point you’re this worked up? Why do you recede to calling people trailer trash, or simple laborers? Also, what the hell is the problem with it if so? And what is your goddamn issue with women? Jesus man, I dont get along with most of them either, but I dont really give a shit what they do. Who cares? You and Brick seem to click fairly well, and that should be all you need to know, that it’s the way you handle a situation, not the situation at hand that typically matters. Sure, hes seems to be in light debates quite often, but he doesnt drop his standard.
I seem to remember you posting something about being mid-late 30’s? Start fucking acting like it.
Dude…That woman has been talking to not only me but other people in here like we’re her children for a long time now. I’m not the type of person that is going to sit here and belittle someone in a passive aggressive way, which is what that poster always does.
I’ll just come out and say it to your face that you’re an idiot, if that’s what I want to say to you. Passive aggressive is a woman’s thing though so I get it.
And as for flap, I didn’t mean to put him down but he took a big dump on my response as if it was my fault USMC doesn’t actually know how to research shit and so I have to question these people.
Do you even use this forum for any sort of physical health?
Yup.
Or is this just a mental outlet for you? What do you gain from arguing with strangers online to the point you’re this worked up?
I’m not worked up. These are words on a page. You have absolutely 0 degree of knowing how emotionally ramped up I am during these posts. I’m actually pretty calm most of the time.
Why do you recede to calling people trailer trash, or simple laborers? Also, what the hell is the problem with it if so?
Nothing is the problem. Just don’t start telling me how awesome you are in the same sentence you’re belittling me in some way. Fuck off with that noise.
And what is your goddamn issue with women? Jesus man, I dont get along with most of them either, but I dont really give a shit what they do. Who cares?
I don’t have an issue with women, don’t conflate my desire to talk about societal issues and what I perceive to be an aggressive modern feminist agenda with me hating all women. I’ve repeated this a number of times, but people feel better immediately resorting to this, it’s easier for them to argue against.
You and Brick seem to click fairly well, and that should be all you need to know, that it’s the way you handle a situation, not the situation at hand that typically matters. Sure, hes seems to be in light debates quite often, but he doesnt drop his standard.
What do you mean that’s all I need to know?
yeah, he doesn’t ‘drop his standards’ because I think he wants people here to like him. He’s been around long, and doesn’t want bad blood. That’s this business, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But I don’t care if people online don’t like me. If someone is going to take my opinions and create a character in their minds so they can attack me, then I’m not here to appease them or to crawl back into their good graces.
I hope this helped you understand. Have a nice night
it’s late, about to go to bed so instead of me giving you my own personal beliefs, and anecdotal evidence based on my long experience with women I’ll do what people in here love to do. google, and link you something:
Indeed, anger in men is often viewed as “masculine”–it is seen as “manly” when men engage in fistfights or act their anger out physically, notes Thomas, director of the nursing doctoral program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. “For girls, acting out in that way is not encouraged,” she says. “Women usually get the message that anger is unpleasant and unfeminine.” Therefore, their anger may be misdirected in passive-aggressive maneuvers such as sulking or destructive gossip, she says.
This isn’t to say men aren’t passive aggressive, in terms of anger I think men probably go off the scale on all forms of anger compared to women. Women are simply not as confrontational, but when they are they tend to do it in a passive aggressive manner.
Passive aggressive dudes are funny though. I had a friend like that once, and he’d drive his gf fucking nuts.
This is what you need to say when presenting your viewpoints. I’m not talking about links, studies, or whatever other tangible stuff that can be drawn into this, I’m talking about your word choice, and your ability to be inclusive in presenting your point of view. That’s how you avoid a lot of the issues that go on in the forums here.
