it’s also funny you bring up the “post your own picture!” argument when you have none yourself…

Damn straight, CC - way to put “some timing to them!”
Arnold is a god, not a man, and we all know that never an ill word about the gods should be spoken.
Oddly enough, no one here has spoken disparagingly - either about man or god.
Methinks, CC, that thy “timing” is…well, ill-timed.
not sure if its that funny, plus its really old. Posting it here, most of us have already seen that posted by people who try to mock him. He probably assumed you’re such a person, oh well.
The fact we are talking about a 60 year old immigrant from Austria is mind blowing…
Lets keep it real like him hate him Arnold is the best of all time the babe ruth or BB or the Michael Jordan of BB and so on.
60 years old and has not competed cense the early 80s.
Mind blowing…

okay you are taking this way to personal. I’m not bashing on anybody, or am i jealous, just putting up something funny for a good laugh, if you can’t see that then you are an idiot who needs a different perspective on life since your automatic assumption is that ppl have insidious intentions in harmless actions.

It’s not personal; I just tire of the same immature drivel over and over on this site.
People like you are so predictable. I knew the “Well, where are your pics?” response was coming before I even hit the Submit button on that last one.
Difference is, smart guy, I was not making fun of anyone’s physique on this thread, nor have I ever in my eight years and 1,000 or so posts on this site.
If you had seen me do so, you might have a point; as it is, your argument holds no water. Sit down.

Obviously you didn’t understand, as evidenced by your incoherent rambling of a response, that he was saying “Thanks for putting some timing to them” as in the time at which the pictures were taken. Pitiful try at an insult, though.

Exactly. Over and over and over and over…

Read it - it’s plain English, but requires a decent education I suppose.
Obviously you are angry about something else. Why don’t you take that Arnold Action Figure out of your ass and give it a rest?
Btw, if I feel the need to insult you (and I don’t), you will know it. And incidentally (is that word too big for you?), that’s the second time you’ve misinterpreted someone on this thread.
Both of you need to shut the fuck up before I round house kick you in the face.

I’m not making fun of anyone’s physique, that has already been stated. apparently you are just reading what you want to read from my posts and not understanding it. People like you are so predictable, you hear what you want. I’m tired of arguing with close-minded ppl like you. Find something else to do.

I did read it, and it’s very clear from this statement by you
that you thought he was giving me some kind of “internet high five” for “sticking it to 'em”. My education and interpretation skills are just fine.

Yes you were, by posting that picture of Arnold and saying “yeah happy 60th =)” It was undeniably an insult to his physique. Period, end of that discussion.
No, I saw and read what was on the page and understand it perfectly for what you meant by it.
Did you really just use the repeat burn?
Oh, but come on, this is so much fun! ![]()
What was this thread about?
Uhhh I forget…

That’s the third time. You left out the key part of my post:
“Obviously you are angry about something else. Why don’t you take that Arnold Action Figure out of your ass and give it a rest?”
Just in case you missed it ![]()

I remember when I started working out, Arnold’s book “The Education of a Bodybuilder” was a great inspiration. From then on I’ve always been a great admirer…not just his phenominal body but also him as a person. He did exactly what he set out to accomplish. Love ya big guy!
[quote]katzenjammer wrote:

Yes, it’s the third time you’ve completely sidestepped the issue and failed to admit that you had no clue what gswork was talking about with the “timing” comment and thought it was an affront of some kind. ![]()
C’mon, man, you were wrong; everyone who reads what you responded with can see it. There’s no shame in admitting it. ![]()
It’s also the third time you’ve continued to argue with me after you completely misinterpreted my original post and thought I was talking to you, even though I flat-out told you I wasn’t.
[quote]You left out the key part of my post:

I didn’t miss it. ![]()
I simply left that part out because I thought it was hilarious that right after that action figure statement you wrote:
I generally don’t address things people say that they completely contradict themselves on right afterwards. It’s not worth the time when someone can’t even keep their own thoughts and words consistent from one second to the next.
I’m not angry about anything. It’s just another day at good ol’ Testosterone :-).
[quote]inthego wrote:

You haven’t figured it out yet? ![]()
Cardinal Rule of the Testosterone Forums:
No thread shall stay on topic nor fail to include at least one argument over trivial bullshit after the first five posts.
Rule #2:
It’s all trivial bullshit (I’d do well to remember that myself, most times).
Heh, heh ![]()
At any rate, Happy Belated Birthday Arnold!

I would like to read that book sometime. It’s hard to find these days.
I’ve wanted to read it even more so after reading “Muscle” a few years back; “The Education…” is pretty much the entire reason Sam Fussell ventured into BBing and wrote “Muscle” in the first place.
P.S. I highly recommend “Muscle”, though it might be even harder to find than “The Education of a Bodybuilder”. You might want to skip the last chapter, though…

He is the best of all time. He is even more amazing than Babe Ruth or Jordan. Those guys were the best at major sports but they kind of peaked there.
Arnold has gone beyond being the best at a minor sport and forged a huge movie career and is now governor of California. Truly amazing.
And regarding the beach picture I have heard it was from right before he had heart surgery. Note the lack of scars. I don’t think he was able to do much training after his heart valve problem was diagnosed and before it was repaired.

Yea the Arnold book made a huge impression on me…especially since I was 15 when I read it. Actually if you check out Amazon.com, you’ll find many copies of it available.
