Super bench workout, meal prepping, washed the car, went shopping with ma, died my hair, cleaned the kitchen floor, did my nails, sorted out laundry. UHh ya, now I am just grasping at straws here.

BUt seriously ,
This is proving to me that apparently at this exact moment of my life I don’t need sleep to function. Fully functional.
So I will not get anxiety about my 2:20am wake up today because yesterday proved to me that I can get a lot done regardless.
I was still grumpy though…

Today is day zero.

I was thinking about what I was thinking about yesterday RE: Self-control, and I realized that the reason I am able to have such anal control over certain things is because those things go WITH my OCD and not against it.
I have no problem controlling my diet because my OCD wants me to attain the physique of my dreams, I don’t even have to fight it.
Taking a day OFF from the gym is the battle because that is going against the wishes of my disorder (AKA my best friend/worst enemy).
If OCD wants something then OCD gets it because it’s not a force to be reckoned with, for realz.

Fighting Marshall lustiness is a fight, battle, ALL OUT WAR, because it’s going up against my greatest opponent (myself).
I am my greatest strength, my greatest weakness.

Knowing this helps me not at all, just an insight is all…

Just thinking that you should be sleeping like a baby every night, considering how hard you work. If you are more emotional than normal, that’s another indicator that something’s up. I know the daily gym is therapeutic so maybe try a BW/ light routine with some incline walking for a few days. Or look to see if cals have been in a deficit for awhile. People often loose sleep when they are dieting. Just thinking out lout here. It could be a number of things. But yeah, I’d think you’re be experiencing some difficulty with your lifting so that’s odd.

I think CT takes his temperature to determine whether he is overtraining.

However, you could be exhausted either physically or psychologicaly.

Even Arnold had days where he went to the gym, looked around, was not feeling it at all and went to the beach to pick up some girls.

So, that is your solution right there, go to the beach and pick up some girls :-)…

Over the years I have found ways to “trick”/ manipulate myself into fixing certain aspects of my OCD that I found bothersome or detrimental to my well-being.
Therefore my solution to Marshall; The nightmare, is to simply make that OCD thing go toe-to-toe with a more important OCD thing (gym time).

If we bang or are going to bang the next day or are texting or have texted or are dirty texting or I think up a creative dirty text that I plan to send then I cannot sleep.
Cannot focus.
If all that ^^ is ruining my sleep, ruining my recovery, impacting my gym performance, then essentially marshall is fucking up my beloved most importantest thing in the world to me.

First off, awesome work on the deadlifts. 3 wheels isn’t too far off, I’m sure! Second, how long are your sessions and how often are you training each body part? I wanna crank up the volume, but already in there for an hour or a bit more as it is. And always read trainers saying don’t spend more than an hour. Usually that’s when I start feeling flat anyway. Thirdly, have you ever considered giving your psyche the attention and respect that your body gets? Anything that causes stress negatively effects your gains. What’s more stressful, d-bags in your life, or self gratification until someone worthy comes around? Again, I’m no therapist, so tell me to go fuck myself if you want, just tryna help cuz u seem nice.

My workouts usually take around 2 hours, give or take. Back days and leg days are the longest, obvs, so I schedule those days for when I don’t have to be at work as early.

If I could do a job where being creative was a requirement then life would be very, very rewarding.

My own disbelief in my ability to actually conquer this is hindering my results. I state day one fully knowing that tomorrow is a Sunday that we both have off and I will crumble like a soup cracker without even putting up up a fight.

Something I learn each and every workout is that the mind is the weakest link. My most painful burn out sets could easily have another 20 reps in them if my brain wasn’t such a whiney baby.
