Going off TRT, Clomid vs HCG?

So if going off of TRT will Clomid do the trick with fertility and getting you back to normal as fast or as well as HCG? Is there any difference in post cycle/TRT with either of the 2? Will Clomid restore ball size? Etc

Thinking of going off entirely, just wondering if one or the other helps fertility better. Haven’t spoken to a doc yet, but I think my Uro would lean towards Clomid (I don’t get TRT from him currently)

They both work.

My doctor prefers HCG for fertility (I don’t know why) but prescribes clomid to some people. An acquaintance of mine recently had a kid and he used clomid.

Good to know. Long term HCG makes me feel weird. Wonder if that will change if I am of T entirely.

Typically one would cease TRT and start HCG whilst the Test is clearing your system. Based on the half life of Cyp you’re looking at almost a month for full clearance but it’s mostly clear after three weeks. At which point you would cease the HCG and start your Serm such as clomid or nolvadex. Make sense? Summary… last pin of Test… start HCG and run it three week or so. Stop HCG and start Serm for 4 weeks. This is non medical professional advice and what steroid cycle folks do for ideal PCT.
