hey dedicated. When are you gonna join the real man at 400 lbs + bench ???
when are you going to join the boys and bench 300 lbs +?
lol.
triple-10sets your a douche bag, stop makeing stupid threads and thinking your hot shit because you gained weight durring your newbie gains while on creatine.
Maybe you arent picking up on the atmosphere here but being a “T-man” dosent = smug know it all douche bag who keeps talking about takeing “the crown”.
Im not just talking about what you said to dedicated, Im talking about all your threads and pretty much every thing you have ever said on the site. There are way bigger, stronger more accomplished and knowledgable people on the site. Yet they dont do what you do.
Maybe its just me who is getting sick of your posts, maybe its because you remind me of someone I know who is also a annoying bitch. But seriously, stfu.
I’ve been on WSFSB for a few weeks now and do a 5rm-3rm-1rm week to week. After I’m done with my max effort set I usually bang out doubles or tipples to get at least 20-25 reps at an appreciable weight.
I closegripped my previous max this monday, so I’m not sure where that puts me as far as a regular bench. Thatd be crazy if I hit 315 or something, and I’m expecting atleast 290~, coming up from 265.
In the last 6 months my bench has gone from 180 to upwards of 265. Although, I was a complete beginner.
So, you’re currently benching 245 for a single, and you expect to put an additional 55lbs on that in 2 months? That sounds about as realistic as gaining 15 lbs in 2 weeks with creatine and water.

Dedicated, what sort of numbers are the guys in your group who have been training for ten years putting up?
One partner at his peak put up 315 for six. I about a year and a half ago put up 315 for four. I weighed about 230 at that time and felt very fat and awful. I currently can put up 310 315 at a weight of 200 depending on the day. I can hit 275 for six and 250 for twelve. These are clean full reps. Another guy put up 335 a couple of months ago. I am 37 years old and lift to stay in shape maintain a decent level of strength with a goal of trying to get stronger namely on bench, but it’s not life and death or with precision programs.
We get in there blast it hard 3 x per week have fun with it and again, stay in shape, so we don’t get weak and soft. I really didn’t mean to stir the shit pot just expressed an opinion really. To each their own and I wish everyone good hard lifting!

I wasn??t criticizing you, I was just interested to know.
315 lb at a bodyweight of 200 lb is actually a very respectable lift.
Do you go heavy on all 3 benching sessions or do you sometimes just do a lighter session.

People like you make people like me hero’s. If I had that piss-poor attitude I would probably think the same. Fact is my whole goal in weight lifting is to push my body to the extreme max. Whatever that means. I dont know what that is for me ,exactly, but im not counting anything out. Nothing . No Offense.
The real goal of lifting weights should be pushing yourself to the limits–within reason, learning when to push and when to hold back. Theres a big difference between training hard and training smart.
I encounter people like you everyday, and like you they are stubborn and like you their ego tends to inflate their goals to the point where they become very unrealistic. Training so carelessly will have you going one step forward two back until you leave your ego at the door and lift smart.

People like me take people like you and rep their max for 8 while weighing 10 lbs less and focusing on basketball, not weight training. And I’m by no means “strong”. Pull your head out of your ass and focus on training. Running your mouth and pushing your luck isn’t exercise, no matter how good at them you are.

I can tolerate big ego’s but only from someone who backs it up, all you do is talk endless shit. The way you work, a couple years down the road you’ll be either;
a)fat
b)injured
c)a ticking time bomb
d)combination of the above

Please, keep the douche bag comments comeing, that way all the people who read my post and thought “hes not that bad” will see how annoying you realy are.
And the I eat Ego’s for breakfast was a nice touch.
Maybe you should start a thread in bodybuilding to help out all the guys bigger than you, after all, you, your training, your diet, and your advice is superior to all.

Im tired of old ladies at my school looking at me like im having fun and its ok to stand next to me and do what i’m doing. I want to seperate myself from all my peers as being the biggest, bulkiest, purely ripped guy out and I want people to look at me like a total different being from everyone else. Thats my goal, thats how big I wanna get. I wanna bench over 300 by may, and im only at 245 now. Any tips ?
You sound like you have some serious insecurity issues. Do it for yourself no one else. 275? is alott at yourschool, at my high school the record was 405, and we had bench shirts for football at 305. I think if you deadlifted that would bring more respect.
First tips,
strengthen you chin , back you look like you dont have mmuch of any lats, when you bench is stuck usually its because your antagonist muscles are weaker.
if your going for a max try a set of heavy bent over rows or weighted chins 3 min prior to your max set.
