Raw lifting is just kinda like what you do at the local rec center to get in shape, powerlifting is an actual sport that requires gear:)
Reverse grip, only allowed in a couple of feds.

after work 25 minutes elliptical… really necessary so I can keep moving. then off to take the dogs to the vet. combined they weigh over 300 right now. I had to pick them up to put them on the scale. little stiff today.

almost fell asleep in my chair at 7:30, but thanks to more drama inserted into life I am still awake. Really horrible stuff that happened to a relative. Can’t or won’t detail it. Oh well, now I get to see the SOA I missed on Tuesday…
drove an hour and half to bench today with a whole slew of lifters
bench, raw warm ups 140 x 10, 230 x 5, 280 x 3, 320 x 3, 3 board 410 x 2
shirt on, still putting it on by myself, almost superstitious about this now
3board 500 x 3, 2 board 590 x 2, decided to stick it out at the 2 board today: 640 x 2, 680 x 1 PR 700 x 1 PR
everything went really fast, set up was perfect, and was called a pussy when I called it quits at 700, lol. It felt good and strong, will work the boards lower next week. Did burst blood vessels around my eyes, and it made my eyes and sinuses hurt, though

Wow! That’s really nice. I have to say, I’m always kind of happy when I get the ‘pink freckles’ of petichial hemoraghing after lifting.

shrugs, 5 x 15, last two sets with 495
preacher curl 3 x 15
cable curl 3 x 15
face pulls 3 x 15
cable abs 3 x 15
bike 25 minutes.
