Going Bananas

Remind me not to piss you off if I ever run into you.

We shoot on our property as well. My kids love it.

Man, things are much different here. In Canada we throw sharp rocks and thinly veiled insults.

I just picked up a ruger LCP .380. it’s perfect for concealed carry and was pretty inexpensive.

My CCW is a Glock 27 .40 S&W.
Tupperware pocket rocket. Never leave home without it.
Would love to get a baby Kimber someday when I can afford it.

Even with a CCP, your approach is my first choice. I pray I’ll never have to use it for business. Sure is fun for targets though.

I threw my bench shirt on today at home just for kicks. Was working my way solo into it and then realized I was probably within a few inches of getting myself in a jam with no way out till someone came home.

Guns are fun. I need to buy more. My wife says no, but we shall see…

not sure what to do about family issues. new job, and supporting my family, is crucial right now. will deal with shit day by day I guess.

Nice skwattin. I hope the family issues work out, that’s tough with a new job just starting.

Damn, I missed SOA. I did not know the new season was rolling. At least I know to watch for it now.

Looking strong Peter. Glad your wife will be staying home with the boys. She’ll be much happier and when mom is happy everyone is happy.

Hiya Steven, hey Jack, thanks for stopping in.

Ass. night at commercial gym

really just wanted to get it done fast, music sucked, I keep forgetting to charge my ipod, etc. and late nights and early mornings with work are the norm right now

My wife and nieces shoot out at my brothers farm a couple of times a month. She’s got a cute little .22 cal ruger. Buy 500 rounds for next to nothing. I’ve got a .38 S&W but haven’t shot it in a long time. Perfer the Mosberg 12g shotgun. Handles things quicker.
MM talking about feeling naked without carrying reminded me of back when John Matuszak was playing for the Raiders, been in the world’s strongest men, huge guy, got picked up DUI and was carrying a bowie knife and a .357. Said he was afraid of being mugged.
Good squats.

pulling 2 days after skwattin not optimal, but on 5 hours of sleep and a 11 hours of work made it work

stiff legs w/fat bar
135 225 315 x 5
add 200 in chains
225 x 3 315 x 3 405 x 3 455 x 3 495 x 3 PR 30lbs over last week

dbell row 100 x 10 130 x 10 150 x 10 x 10

rackable cambered bar gms 3 x 8 w/3plates, slow and deep

leg raise 3 x some

dbell shrugs 3 x 20 w/130s

That’s a big PR for so little sleep!

sounds like the transition back to 9-5 worklive hasn’t killed you yet. Fat bar and chains looks tough, don’t think I could move half of what you’re talking about

Thanks MJ and Snapper. Sleep deprived and overstressed I am yet feeling strong. Unfortunately feeling fat as well.

Today 30 minutes elliptical, first cardio in a week. I never go that long. Well, I guess I do now. It actually sucked, thought of bagging it at ten minutes.

the way i look at it, if someone is going to mess with me they are probably going to be armed. that’s pretty much why i always carry. that and i remember watching a surviellence video of a grocery store. this guy walked in with a shotgun and just walked around picking people off. in one part of the vid he was chasing this guy around a produce holder just shooting away. every since i saw that i never want to be boxed in somewhere without being able to protect myself.

better safe than sorry.

i agree with the shotgun. i have 10 guage for home protection… don’t need to be nearly as accurate with it:)

benchin’

warm ups 140 x 10, 230 x 3, 280 x 3,
raw 2 board 330 x 2, 370 x 2, 410 x 2, 440 x 2
then decided to mess around with the slingshot for 1 set of 5 @ 410

tricep death, 0-4 board 250 x 25

lever pulldowns 200 x 10, 290 x 10, 380 x 10, x 10, 430 x 8, 290 x 25

bent laters 50s x 10, 70s x 10, x 10

conditioning = 2 mile hike today. beautiful weather, got a grab it when it’s good

Thats some strong work Pete. Glad to hear things ae going well for you.

Whens your next meet? Have you totalled elite yet. If not I’m sure you will soon.

feeling strong is the best revenge

nice benching-

Guns are still alien to me still a city kid at heart…

Steve, October 23 looks to be a push/pull for me. Gonna shoot for Elite shortly thereafter.

MJ, did I see you were gonna lynch me?

Kevin, I understand ya. I have been drawn to guns more out of a creepy fascination, more than anything else.
