Slackers, both of you…j/k get adjusted to your new work schedule and just add a little at the end of each workout.
skwat night
had briefs shortened in the legs by one inch, happy with the result depth wise
left knee is feeling very iffy though, need to get that back in order
raw warm ups to box 145 x 5, 235 x 5, 325 x 3
briefs, wraps
415 x 2, 505 x 2, 595 x 2, 625 x 2
raw ssb to low box, close stance (trying to get those little muscles around the knee firing) 2 plates x 8, 3 plates x 8
GHR 4 x 10
leg raise 4 x 10
highlights: one guy raw went 655 x 3, another guy did 750 in briefs, but no belt. just sick with depth on both of them.
nice work,
glad the tailor hooed up your underoos
must be great to have real training partners
creative cardio. got home and planned to take the dogs out. Wife insisted I hang with the kid, which was ok with me. He said he wanted to go on a walk. We did the two mile hilly walk. First mile he was a champion, pumping his little legs, doing sprints, etc. Then he fell, so I got to carry him the second mile, which has a brutally steep hill in it. Actually come of the best cardio I have had lately. Plus got to play the hero daddy.

hero daddy - for the win! carrying a 4 year old is better than a weighted vest.
but did the poor doggies miss out?
Looking good pete!

yes, they did miss out. I have to make it up to them…
the pooches are very forgiving. rattle the leash and say “walkies” and they will forget every evil you have ever perpetrated.
i love dogs

I just logged back in for this one, it’s for Null:
My boy told my wife this morning that he dreamed about me leading him across a bridge. I asked him about it and he said yeah, we had an adventure and you kept me safe. We had to get across and you helped me get there.
Think I know what this means but heck, had to add it to my posts. [/quote]
WOW!
That made my day! And it has been a damned good day so far!

problem is prowler or hills adds another drive, unload, set up, etc. to the whole equation. but I will figure it out…
pulling
145 x 5, 235 x 5, 325 x 3
add green bands (approx 200lbs at top) 325 x 3, 415 x 2, 475 x 1, 525 x 1 (+20lb pr) 555 x 0, shitty set up, got on my toes, no go; 465 x 3
GHR 3 x 10
decline abs 3 x 10
dbell shrugs 2 x 15
not much for assistance work, oh well.
getting some good work in. and I love that playmobil pirate ship
Are you getting settled back in with work and the new schedule? It looks like your training is still going strong.
Jack, lifting is going very well, if I can just figure a couple little items out regarding form on the squat I will be very happy. conditioning is up for grabs these days. My days are very long, and trying to squeeze in what I can. Think I found a welder to fix the prowler, so that will help.
Today after work 20 minutes elliptical then 2 mile walk with kid and 1 dog (the bulldog). Didn’t to bad leaving the St Bernard at home, it is 90 out, and the heat wrecks the old girl.
nice work, playmobile is the shit, I want to say I had some when I was like 10.
Let me clarify a few things here regarding training, life, etc.
I have not gotten 5 hours of straight sleep in the last 4 weeks. I can live with that. I go to bed around 11, usually, wife comes in at 12, 4 year old around 1, baby at 3. I get up around 5. Oh well, I can adjust.
Work days are still something to get adjusted to. No rhyme or reason, but I am getting paid for that. Due to overseas ‘customers’ sometimes meeting are held at very early hours. I just hate to re-arrange my life and find out at the last minute the meeting was cancelled.
But other factors are weighing in on me. I haven’t talked about this but mom is real sick. She has smoked two plus packs a day forever, and the reaper is calling. She is in denial, says the chantix doesn’t work, etc…
Then tonight we get a call that my wife’s best friend just died. Beautiful girl, she was my champion from the beginning of the relationship with my wife, and we have no clear answers on what happened.
On a side note I gave me wife the go ahead to quit her job, to not return to work after maternity leave.
On a plus I am looking forward to benching a shitload hungover tomorrow.
This is life.
Sorry, just needed somewhere to start to write out what is on my plate…
