That is some sick shit

Good luck on the Philly gig. Hope you can work local if that’s the plan.
You are way overdue to land something good.

Thanks Powers. Did you know there is a wonderful whiskey by the name of powers? anyway, the philly interview is for a local gig. Huge convolution with the recruiter and the employer both having their headquarters in Philly. Of course Minneapolis/Philadelphia is not a regular commuter flight. And my wife is due to give birth, now. If nothing happens soon we will do inducement next Thursday. Meanwhile, I have this huge interview scheduled on the other side of the country. FnA life is interesting. This is actually a job a kinda want too.

Didn’t know bout the whiskey. Will have to try it.
Powers isn’t my last name though. I earned the handle from my kids friends. After wrestling down and pinning two of my sons HS friends at once, they said I have “old man powers”.

Pretty exciting week ahead for you. I’ll have a whiskey and cigar ready for the news.

Commercial gym. Today I missed the BB club. Can’t wait to get back there.

Decline ab: 5 x 12-15
Floor press 135 x 10, 225 x 5, 275 x 3, 315 x 3, 365 x 1, 405 x 1. Amateur hand off, lost tightness, still muscled it up. 315 x 10
pulldowns 6 x 10
rolling tris 4 x 10
barbell curl 45 x 10, 95 x 10, 135 x 15, x 10
laterals 3 x 10
bent laterals 3 x 10
face pulls 5 x 12-15
rope down/ext 5 x 12-15 each

prowler 90 x 40yd x 10

managed two mile hilly walk. also shorter walk to park with kid, where, as a father’s day present, he pooped his pants. first time that has ever happened since he got potty trained.

tomorrow I will do a squat/dl. Then deload begins. My deload week entails my mother in law flying in, me flying to Philly and back in one day for some job interviewing, then either Wednesday or Thursday we will be inducing labor, having the baby, and staying at the hospital for hopefully the shortest time frame possible. Then back home with new baby, mother in law, wife, kid, etc. And a whole new person to introduce by 300lbs worth of dog to.

Today I went and purchased what amounts to about two weeks worth of groceries. Lot of high calorie, easily cooked or already prepared stuff. So I will be eating like crap for the next two weeks. I am excited for that.

Thats impressive floor pressing Pete. Good luck with everything you’ve got coming up.

Box squat, straight weight, low box, narrow stance, long pause: 135 x 5, 225 x 5, 315 x 5, 365 x 5, 405 x 5 for 3 sets.

Reverse band DL worked up to 695 x 2. Next time will have to put bands around the bar, not the sleeve, to get more weight on the bar. Damn this starts to feel heavy fast.

Hammer stregth DY row 4 x 12

circuit:
GHR
AB Wheel
Dbell shrug
3 x 12-15 each

prowler work
backward drags 4 x 90 x 40 yd
forward sprints 6 x 90 x 40yd

Lot on your plate and you still manage to do some heavy lifting. Good luck with everything,
