Going Bananas

THAT IS GREAT NEWS!!!

congratulations to you and the family

Congratulations Peter. Glad everyone is doing well. Daddy x 3. Good work.

Great news Pete! congratulations. so the question is, will you start him squatting on the box, or free?

Congratulations Pete.9 lbs 9 oz? So what did it feel like when your wife smacked you in the head with a ball bat while she screamed"Pete you bastard you did this to me " second will the boy wear single or double ply diapers?

That’s a big boy. Must be a relief to finally have him here.

Congratulations, a great name for a big boy. Wishing you and your wife all the best during the first couple of weeks. Here’s hoping he’s a good sleeper.

Congratulations to the wife and you. Biggun.

back home with baby, big brother, and bride. might even train today. just a little anyway.

Thanks all for well wishes, I am truly humbled by my wife’s strength.

I also know my place better:)

Great news everyone is home. Get some sleep pops.

I had promised the nearly 4 year old I would bring him to the gym today to go to the pool. They have a nice outdoor pool there. Of course, had to get a little lift in while I was there.

Front squat worked up to 365 x 3. Would have been better if I didn’t keep hitting the sides of the rack.

Ghetto T Bars 2 plates x 10, 4pl x 10, 5 pl x 10, 6 x 10, 7 x 10, x 10

leg press up to 26 plates x 10

db shrug 4 x 20

mini circuit: GHR, hanging ab, cable curl 3 x 15 each

hung out at pool with kid, then came home and slept a little.

i’m glad to hear that everyone is home and life is getting back to normal… normal as in Pete is moving heavy shit again.

didn’t make it to Philly, yet.

Logan Wallace S. came out kicking and screaming at 10:31 a.m. weight 9lbs 9oz.

My wife is strong and amazing, and so is this kid. [/quote]

I don’t know how I missed this, but CONGRATS on the new one!!! That’s a big baby! Lift big, breed big, eh?

This makes the 3rd O35 baby in a couple months. Anyone ready for the second wave?

Yes!!! Congrats on the fine strong son!

believe it or not, the kid slept 2 four hour stretches last night. hope he makes it a habit.

today 30 minutes elliptical, was going to haul the dogs for a long walk but a hail storm came rolling in.

managed a ton of yard work earlier. actually nice having the mother in law in town through the weekend.

gonna bench somewhere tomorrow. just not feeling it at the commercial gym, probably won’t make it to the bb club though. Will weigh my options in the a.m.

Philly interview rescheduled for Wednesday.

Next 6 weeks or so training will be intense, but fairly generalized. Then begin meet prep.

Pete - What do you do? What will you do in Philly? “Philly” Philly or greater Philly? I grew up around there (Jersey side) but have family west of Philly. One of my company’s offices is in the Radnor area.

Congratulations Pete. Nothing else equals the joy you feel when you hold your brand new child in your arms for the first time. It feels like magic.

Steely,
The job will actually be here back in Minneapolis. Corporate headquarters for both recruiter and client in Philly. Consulting job, 3 year contract, in the telecom/data area.

Ms. O, yeah, they are amazing.

Lifting at commercial gym. Told wife next week I have to be back at bb club. Benching on narrow benches sucks when it gets heavy.

Warm ups then raw 2 board: 315 x 3, 365 x 3, 395 x 3, 415 x 3. Really cheap PR since I got 410 x 5 a few weeks back.

raw rep out 315 x 10. Figured out something with my breathing today so this should get better. I tend to hold my breath when I bench. Not bright, I know, but for maximal weight it works for me. For rep outs it sucks.

pulldowns 4 x 10 wide, 3 x 10 reverse grip

rope down/extensions 3 x 15 each

laterals drop set 55s x 8, 45s x 8, 35s x 8

alternate cable curls 3 x some

prowler 90lb x 40 yds x 10

I’ve come to the conclusion that a cheap PR is like a cheap BJ. It is what it is, and it’s rarely, if ever, bad.

And I will take either and brag about it…

got two mile hilly walk in. Dog’s first walk in a week. They started off strong, dragging me, but that changed real fast. they shuffled the last mile.
