I’ll admit, I have a facebook account. Usually post shit about meets or dogs or cute kid stuff. Today my only post was “I believe it is true you choose your own attitude: and today I picked an effen nasty one”.
This morning I rolled out of bed wanting to get in a bar fight. Me against three, at least. Bad sign when your day includes a) no lifting b) a trip to the park and c) looking for jobs that don’t seem to fuggen exist. At the park I seriously was on the scout for someone doing something that might harm my son, scowled at the grassy hills and across the parking lot, but there was only one nice young mom with a kid my son’s age and her little 4 month old. I tried like hell to sound civilized when I spoke to her about kids and babies.
BTW, missed walk. Went and picked out kids carpeting for his new room, as we make room for baby brother. Thanks to the tanked economy, will get the room carpeted for about the price I can get for a POS old .38 I have. By the time we got back I had to make dinner, then storm clouds rolled in and I felt tired and angry at the same time. Messed up combo.

the wife, the dogs, the kids, etc all mitigate my anger, and make me rationalize, but fuck, some old school brawling, or at least a mosh pit worth of that name, is sometimes necessary, or at least deeply wanted.
I skipped out on seeing the Business, old friends, and really one of the originators of true punk rock, the other night. felt it wise to a) be close to the wife and b) not spend any money. Kinda regretting right now.
However, to support no-necked midget NYC folk I will be seeing the legendary Cro-Mags in July. 23 years since I have seen them.

You shoulda just wore your briefs with the hole in them to the park, some face paint and nothin’ else. Then, could have brought one of your dogs to the park wearing a pink tu-tu with a rebel flag tied around his neck. Jack, I try to make it to a couple shows a year still. That way I can keep an eye all my old degenerate friends. When Age of Quarrel came out we all thought the Cro-Mags must have been some of the burliest, nastiest dudes out there. Then they came to town and realized they needed help getting stuff off the top shelf. Still hard as nails though.

I took a Spike before benching this morning. Same prob. Now, when I take one before leg day, not the same effect. Just shows to go ya.
couple of notes:
one of the top benchers around swung by, and noted a) technique goes a long way b) short arms get you even further and c) ugly reins in benching.
left leg is starting to fire more on its own, except when I did prowler I seem to have fucked my ankle a little. I am trying to lay low on the ibu, but upped the dose today and that has helped. I think it messed with it mostly because of my overconsumption of caffeine this morning.
New injury seems to be mid back, feel it across the tie in to my lats and erectors at the midpoint, if that makes sense. I have made friends with the resident chiro at the commercial gym, gonna get an adjustment.
In fact, he noticed when I was doing the rack pulls that I seemed to be stalling out right before lockout with a pained look on my face. He was training with his wife and she suggested I get an adjustment… she didnt’ realize I got a freebee coming, lol.
