For various reasons this will be my last DE day for while. The main problem, at least on squats, is that because Monday always ends up being a squat night, mainly because that is when I have access to the mono, I am feeling a little too beat up from squatting twice a week. Or at least I am blaming it on that. I am going to make this more of a core strength/deadlift day for awhile, see how that pans out.

So for Today:

DE squat 10 x 2 w/325 + 100lbs of chains
Medium stance GMs 225 x 10, 275 x 8, 315 x 8, 365 x 8
trap bar shrugs 3 plates x 15, 4 plates x 15, 5 plates x 10
hack squat 360 x 10, 560 x 7
ghr 4 x 15
decline sit up 4 x 15
sled:
backward drags 6 x 45 yds x 90lbs
forward sprints 6 x 45 yrd x 135lbs

Sorry to hear that Pete - don’t give up on that company tho. That other guy may not work out.

Shirt day, woo hooo. 1/2 the gym bailed to go train strongman with one of the big local WSM guys. Still, took nearly 3 hours to get through the benchin’.

Raw warm ups bar x 100, 140 x 10, 230 x 5, 280 x 5, 320 x 3, 4 board 410 x 3

shirt on 4 board 500 x 3, 590 x 3,

3 board 590 x 3, 620 x 3. all went really well. no gay left wrist on the lock out. time to lower the boards and up the weight.

raw 2 board, gray short bands 230 x 3, 280 x stapled, then training partner got 2, so I went back and did 280 x 2, missed at the top of 3

320 x 6. This is so sucky. On six I got a major lat cramp and everything shut down.

CSR 2 plates x 10, 3 pl x 10, 4 pl x 10, 5 pl x 10 , 6 pl x 8

Prowler 90lb x 45 yd x 10 trips, just went as soon as other guy was done.

Well, shit, sorry man. And that’s a lot of chest work.

Sorry to hear that the interview didn’t pan out. That has to be a bit disheartening.

I started reading through your log and got depressed about my own performance so I kind of scanned through and avoided the bits that make me feel bad about myself.

In an effort to scan through and not feel bad I couldn’t tell if there was any meet stuff. I assume with your love of rubber gloves and all gear related stuff that you compete. When was your last one?
