Glutamine Intake

I know that taking L-Glutamine is supposed to be one of the best things you can do for your body when you are working out. My question is, is there really a difference between l-glutamine and glutamine peptides? I know that the peptides are supposed to be absorbed into the system easier, but I keep getting different answers from different people. What do you guys think? Does it make a difference? Which kind should I take?
