Anyone go to a Pharmacy that had a standard glucose beverage that JMB reccomends? If so, where at?
VCreed: The solution is a standardized Dextrose Solution, utilized by thousands of people per day. If you are getting the reccommended Glucose Tolerance Testing, the cost of the solution is in the test. If you want it separately for some reason (can’t imagine why!) ask any pharmacy for Glucola OR Standardized Dextrose solution to use for glucose tolerance testing.
Here in VA I had to have a mom and pop pharmacy special order the shit and it was 5 bucks a pop. A-holes. oH well.
