Women aren’t innately evil. No more so than when men had all the power and abused it and committed horrible deeds against women.
They’re just following their innate instincts in a society that’s so forgiving and perhaps even encouraging of it. Men did the same thing when the cards were in our favor. It’s not women, just human nature and the way our society presently works.

I think that almost automatic father custody of the children would do a world of good to create more stable families men are actually invested in.
However, this would not exactly be “balanced” either.
The main problem is that female sexual power peaks so early and that their choices have so devastating consequences down the road.
So, we either magically create young women that think longterm and manage their sexuality responsibly so as to create a working society… yeah, right, or we do what we do with all powers that could potentially wreck our society if unrestrained… and we restrain it.
Then we are of course back where we were, chaperoned dates, early marriages, automatic father custody, ostraciation of single mothers and divorced women, if they get to divorce at all.
Neither of this is necessarily fun, but the alternative is Detroit.
You cannot expect men to work hard to make something out of themselves and to be ignored for a long time sexually, only to be discovered as potential father material in his late twenties , meaning he has to pay a high price for something some other men got for free, which in a way is only fitting because he is neither her first, or second or even 15th choice.
Of course, even then, it can all be taken away if he does not jump through her hoops…
And yet, those men are supposed to work hard, to produce, even when she wrecked the marriage…
… and to pay for other womens bad choices to, via taxation.
I can see why men are starting to opt out, its a shitty deal, all around.
I dont think there is a way back either, because we had laws and customs and religions that were designed to create and support a social construct, the father, a father being more than a sperm donor but someone who is deeply invested in his family and by extension, society.
We have destroyed them all, there is little to no social capital left.
The only thing I am pretty sure of is that you cannot build anything that lasts on womens ever changing feelings, you also cannot negotiate or find a compromise with those feelings, the only thing you can do is to take them out of the equation entirely.
