I like the George Foreman and the Hamilton Beach. Along with it, all I need is a crock pot and a vegetable steamer. This made a world of diffence rather than trying to avoid cooking!
I nuke the breast for 2 min before using the grill which reduces the grilling time (eliminating the crusties). Not too long or it becomes tough. I also spray the grill with pam which makes clean-up easier.
Have to agree with Ko here. Cast iron grill pan, works the same as a foreman (actually only cooks from one side) never doesn’t work, and was the only thing I had that survived a whole house fire. Also those little lines are a function of the Malliard reaction one of the best tasting reactions around. To paraphrase Homer Simpson…MMMMMMM Malliard reaction.
Same deal as everyone else here. Love my grill. I have the tiny one though. Actually I have 2, one at school and one at home. It hasnt even been a year, and my school one is ready to die, its non-stick is non-existent. But I guess thats what happens when you use the grill twice a day everyday. That chicken skin, yeah it sucks, but no one said gettin big was easy.
In terms of ease of use, an oven’s much easier than a Foreman. Cover a cookie sheet with tin foil, thrrow some chicken breasts on it, stick in a 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes, and you’re done. No cleanup; you just throw away the tin foil.
