A buddy of mine just gave me a bottle of 100mg androstendione, normally I would just be taking some androsol…Can someone tell me the dosing of the androsol relative to this generic shit(100mg capsules)? How much per day to be effective? Thanks. Late
androstendione<<<bad, cheap, much less effective
androstendiol<<<good, quality, much more effective
The problem with the dione version of andro products is that is is several time less effective than the diol version. Also taking it in pill form means that it has to pass through the liver, which destroys alot of it, before entering the blood stream. Once there only about 5-6% of it is actually converted into the active compound (if memory serves me). The topical spray in androsol skips the liver problem entirely, and the diol version means that around 15-20% is converted (again if memory serves me).
I would encourage you to read the “andro wars” article that Testosterone wrote a while back. They explain this much better than I.
androstiendione is great @ 500mg doses. You could put on 10lbs in a week(all fat from the estrogen conversion)
Haven’t done much research, huh? That’s okay, I took the shit once too. At effective dosages, it’s gyno city, baby. Bad stuff. Toss it or sell it to a guy you don’t like.
Sorry fellas…It is 4-androstene-3,17diol. Does that help? Any comments? Thanks.
go with 300 mg a day. 100 when you wake up, 100 45 minutes before lifting, 100 before bed
If it’s 4-androstene-3,17diol (4-AD) then
you need 300 mg orally six or seven times
per day to get pretty good results.
bill-isn’t that overkill?
If it were more than needed
to get really good results I would not
have stated that amount. The bioavailability
of 4-AD capsules or powder is so low that
it indeed does take massive quantities taken
orally, over many doses per day, to get
results that are even at all close to what
Androsol does.
well i gained 6 pounds of MUSCLE off substrate solutions reg. 4-AD back in 1999.
this was with 300 mg a day. also my strength went up.
I believe any more than 300 will just signal your nuts to stop producing any natural T and will maybe increase production in E
“Steve” also made amazing gains off of Proviron, a steroid which is known for generally giving no gains (and which is
known scientifically to not be anabolic
in skeletal muscle due to enzyme conversion.)
I’m not saying he’s not sincere. I’m saying
that it’s possible for some to gain 6 lb of muscle, or whatever amount, with NO nutritional supplement at all, and if a nutritional supplement is taken, there’s
a tendency to attribute the gain to the supplement.
That should be done only if there’s sound
reason, based on experience, to believe
that the gain could not have occurred under
the same conditions without the supplement.
And preferably there would be at least
two experiences of this happening.
