Hello, I’m late to the party but I have a Q for you guys: I’m playing Borderlands, and have gotten to level 30 with Mordecai… the game started out interesting but now that I’m starting to max out my skill trees the opposition is dropping like flies!
Has anyone played Borderlands all the way through and feel like voicing an opinion whether the storyline is worth gunning through the rest of the game? It’s awfully repetitive at this point. lol
So many games, so little time…
Did you choose your name from the Steven Erickson books of the Malazan series? And yes it gets very repititive I traded it in and didnt complete. I dont play on line and that would be the only reason to keep and play it.
you could always jump in with me and soulja. I’m playing a lvl 30 berserker and he’s a lvl 30 soldier.
…but i still don’t get the ending.
It’s possible to play co-op with 3 people over the playstation network? If so, the awesomeness of this game just skyrocketed.

lol, no I’m going to stick to my ps3. A few of my friends bought 360’s and they all crapped out on them.
That was the older model, and I’ve had mine for 2 years now and not a single problem. The reliability issue is no longer one.
I might be scoring a free PS3 which bombed out on my colleague - only the Bluray drive is bust, which I’m sure I can fix and then have a fully functioning unit!

Yeah I’m a whore for the Malazan books.
Cool I have loved that series, first thing I look for in Book stores.
I just got this yesterday. Good artwork, good fighting scene…fairly “safe” take on Spiderman. If you like any of the other SM games you will probably really enjoy this. They took parts from Arkam Asylum…like having “dark spiderman” do stealth take down moves while hanging overhead. They took parts from all of the other SM games that worked.
The thing I hate though…is no free roaming. I mean, you can walk across the street, but the overall game seems to be locked into play at all times as opposed to others where you can do what you want.
OK…after playing that game some more…it is basically for teenagers. And even then I am not sure the average 16 year old will choose this over shooting something in first person. Good concept, poorly executed.
They need an open world game with about 60 different “missions” and maybe 10 different plots. Spiderman should always be free roaming for it to be good.
The only way this game will redeem itself is if it turns out to be free roaming after you beat it.
The best part of the game:
They should have made the whole game about “dark Spiderman” (or Noir Spiderman) which is set in the “40’s” or similar. Hiding in the shadows and taking people down with stealth moves was cool and should have been the whole focus of the game…but I guess they would have caught flack about imitating Batman to some degree.
The game is almost worth getting just for the Noir Spiderman story line alone.
