I’m interested in some Halo: Reach single player stuff, Diablo 3, Dead Space 2, the sequel to Batman:Arkham Asylum, and maybe some more info/footage of Itagaki’s new game Devil’s Third.
I’m definitely NOT interested in seeing an excess of time devoted to Natal and Move. I don’t want any Wii in my HD consoles.
I’m looking forward to seeing the same Gran Turismo 5 footage being shown for the fourth year running. Seriously, what have they been doing all this time?!
After playing Batman recently the sequel is definitely near the top of the list for me, that game blew me away. I was a bit disappointed with the Killzone 3 trailer, I think it looks a bit too much the same as Killzone 2. Hopefully they have more that they haven’t shown yet that will get me more hyped for it!
I REALLY want to see how The Last Guardian is shaping up though, looks like a good concept from an awesome developer.
E3 is epic. My father was the VP of marketing for IBM before he retired, so I’ve been lucky enough to attend the event 5 different years. It is by far the best, most exuberant display of technology and gaming that I have ever seen.
This year seems like it could be somewhat low key, as there are no new systems in the pipeline (only the new add on’s for motion capture technology). Hopefully the game releases will pick up the slack.
I’ll probably try to play most of those (for the 360), but I’m probably most excited for the new Fallout.
F3 brought back some nostalgia, but I’m looking forward to a serious trip down memory lane with so many of the guys from the originals working on New Vegas.
I’m not a fan of this criticism this generation. Ridiculous amounts of time, money, and energy went into making KZ2 look like it did. It’d be silly to expect KZ3 to look much different. Same deal with people bitching that Gears 3 looks too much like Gears 2. People have some damn unrealistic expectations.

I agree completely…too many get caught up in appearance rather than the possibilities of improvements and add-ons to gameplay. Which was shown in the KZ3 trailer.

I think what I wrote came across wrong, I think it looks fantastic. I think that the game’s detail and setting is second to none (I’m also glad to see snowy environments being used in the new one). I think I was just left a bit underwhelmed, the Killzone 2 trailers blew me away with their huge set pieces and sprawling scenery whereas the trailer for 3 seemed to be a step backwards in that regard.
I’m keen to upgrade my Xbox for sure, here is what the Kinect unit will look like - at least it’s nothing like the uglier demo unit they had out before.
