Do you even lift weights? Don’t answer that, I already know the answer.

Way not to read my other post dick.
Now ill repeat it for you since your too fucking retarded to read a entire thread. I said in the video it looked like he only did 1 rep for his entire bench. God I hate stupid people.

This is what happens when someone comes hear and reads something like:

I recall reading an article on a technique called continuous motion, constant tension, partial rep. The theory behind it was there was no rest for the muscle during the given lift. No pause at the top or bottom of the lift, just constant tension on the muscle.
That technique reminds me if what you wrote and this guys lifting.
I have to agree, this guy spouted a lot of self accolade at the beginning of his movie and deserves no credit. I mean come on, bends steel? I thought it was a tragedy when I watched it. I didn’t laugh at all and I didn’t find it humorous.

yeah but i don’t think that guy was doing it like that because of the articles, just because he is stupid

Because he only showed his 1RM? Yeah, I’m the retarded one…I quoted you and your post to the other guy’s reply didn’t help your case.

I understand what you’re saying, but my drive was internal. It came from many sources from me just wanting to be better to responding to someone saying I couldn’t do it. I would think everyone has to find their own source but the ones who actually take it further than average do so because they are just that much more driven/angry/fired up for some reason. None of that needs video footage like an overhyped Nike commercial…which is what that was.
I take it as a sign of what most kids are exposed to lately…video streams of info at attention deficit speeds being funneled into their heads day and night. They start thinking they are living in a damn video.
I don’t hate anyone for finding what drives them to do more than average…and if this is the fuel for this guy, then more power to him. However, chances are, this is just another kid who hasn’t done much who wants to live like someone who has…only without all of those years of hard work and all.
Like Bauer wrote, I never would have posted pics or vids of myself when I was that small and skinny or weak. I always figured I had a much longer way to go before I deserved any “credit” for the accomplishment. Apparently, many today think just the opposite. Can that even be a good thing?
Ya know now that you put it that way this kind of superficial braggadocios display doesn’t usually seem to translate into much generally in life as a whole.
For instance everybody has run into some guys who talk about what badasses they are, but the couple I’ve known in my life who truly were as dangerous as a lot of guys talk never had to tell you about it. When the time came there was no doubt. Of course the difference in this game is that the accomplishments eventually become visually apparent.
Thinking about kids like this guy a bit further you would think actually serious goals would be kept amongst those close to you who were maybe in a position to even help push you along. On the other hand who knows. Maybe he eventually grows past this stage and actually makes some serious progress. In any case it’s an interesting discussion.
That’s great.
Thanks for the great find!!
The way I see it. I can either flame him or take the prof. X route.
FLAME ON RANDY MOSS!!!
I wonder why the athletic tape on his arm? Gee… I wonder if he injured it training? Go figure…
Why is he weighing himself with his hoody on?
The only journey he is going to be taking is to the Dr. and rehab.
I like the pose with the belt in the begining. Looks like he should have a WWE belt instead of a weight belt.
Watch the butt come off the bench to bench. uh ohh. Randy moss is gonna be in trouble.
I think he is only doing partial squats because he wants to save his knee. ![]()
I love it when the leg press comes crushing down on his legs. Ouch thats gotta be hard on the knees. Oh… wait he has a belt on nevermind, hes good.
The dips are the best.
1 egg? All that work and 1 god damn egg?
You would think with technique like that, the gym staff would make him leave or make sure he decreases the weight. Liability reasons.
I hope he took a nice long ice bath after that.
I have an idea. Why doesn’t someone challenge him to start asking for advice on T-Nation. His true attitude could be measured in this way. If he’s willing to learn, then wonderful. If he’s as cocky as he seems in the video when presented with sound advice, then he’s obviously not worth saving.
I gotta get this on my ipod and watch it when I train for a good kick me up.
i think either way you look at it that video is pretty embarrassing for that kid

Certainly not in that regard.
I started lifting when I was 13, and it took me until I was 17 before I felt confident enough in my physique to even join a public gym instead of lifting at home, let alone make a fucking video of myself and post it on the internet.
It must be something in the water. Their parents must be giving them trophies and medals every time they take a shit all by themselves.
It’s because in Pee Wee baseball every single fucking kid on the team gets the MVP award. Not just the kid who is the youngest, played his first year, and made the all star team. Nope EVERY SINGLE LOSER ASS KID ON THE TEAM GETS A TROPHY NO MATTER HOW BAD THEY SUCKED. You could have a blind, midly retarded child on the team, yet he would still get an award. WTF where is the sense of accomplishment in that? There wasn’t…
At least thats how it was about 10 years ago when I played lol. I remember my stepdad made me apologize to the entire team in front of everyone for “losing the game for us” because I dropped a ball or something.
Of course my stepdad also threw baseballs at me (albeit not very hard) while I had to just stand there and not move, he said that I was too afraid of the ball when I was batting. My mom slapped him for that.
Two years later I found football… ahh the memories.
I hated that cocksucker, but he taught me some great life lessons about not being a whiney ass bitch.
