the more popular term is ILS (Invisible Lat Syndrome) It’s a serious condition. it afflicts 1 in 3 gymgoers. those that choose to wear wife beaters are even more prone to this highly contagious disease.

Wow you need to post the pic when you will finish dieting down. With your crazy numbers I can’t imagine how you will look.

Meat- Why don’t you kill two birds with one stone.

Go for your raw total in the ol’ budgy-smuggler. It’ll be like being in a bodybuilding competition AND getting the 3 big lifts

come on… everyone knows you have to be fat to be a powerlifter and weak to be a bodybuilder.

I’d like to see you enter and win some national level equipped competitions sans gear. Just to piss off all the gear whores.

About what is your total now/ what was it pre-injury?

as you know… the SPF’s flights mix geared with raw lifts. the flights are just based on the amount of the opening lifts. i like watching guys tug, pull and twist those bench shirts as they are waiting to bench. i just pull my singlet straps up over my tshirt:)

at my best i’ve put up a raw 530 bench with a pause, raw 705 squat and raw 700 deadlift. so… i feel i’ve been close. i’ve been back hitting it healthy for about 4 months now and i’m sitting at a low to mid 1800 total right now. i just hit a 655 raw squat yesterday and i still had a good bit left in the tank. my bench is feeling really good… definitely 500-510… or so. deadlift is about 675 right now.

thanks hoss!

Good stuff MM, keep truckin!

655lb RAW Squat Good GOD

Just imagining that is giving me knee pain LOL

But i hope you achieve your goals just so you have to think up of new ones lol

Obviously, you’ve never been to Miami or you’d know that even if you’re fat, you can still wear a banana-hammock

i’ve been there… seen that. i believe that even though they may make it in one’s size, doesn’t mean one should be wearing it.

Cool!

Meat it would kick ass if you detailed your contest prep if/when you decide to do the competition in the future.

Considering his goal is 1940 at 275, I doubt he would be winning any national level equipped competitions as a raw lifter competing against an equipped lifter. He would need a solid 500 lbs more on that total to have a chance at a big multiply money meet as a 275…and I doubt the USAPL would allow him to compete at a nationals having done meets in the SPF.

We’re talking about totaling more than the best equipped lifters in the nations as a raw lifter. Total more than the lightweights, certainly, but not guys his size.
