Fractured My Shoulder Training WTF

Injured my shoulder about ten days ago training, was pretty sure I just strained part of my AC Joint that I have chronic issues with since an injury in 2003.

It was not healing and hurting pretty bad still so I get an X-ray Rec from the ER I work in and WTF!! I have a fracture.

My guess my AC Joint was out of alignment after heavy training of my Chest and Tri’s and when I went to do some Standing alternates with 65’s a Bone compressed against another.

I remember lifting the DB and when I got to the top I felt a harsh sharp pain and then stopped after the third rep thinking this is not right.

Get a CT Scan on Monday.

Man that sucks! If you lose a shoulder then training is pretty much impossible. What are you doing? Just resting? Sorry to hear that man!

The last week and bit I was using ICE and slow range of motion work, but that was before I knew of the fracture…I still trained Legs and core this week.
