Fortune Favors the Bold

Tony, I never think you are full of shit. I think few people have obtained the amount of knowledge and experience that you have.

Thanks Jack, Ouroboro. It likely is just what the tree of you are saying. It doesn’t mean that I have to like it, though. As long as that wave keep climbing, i will try to keep the bitching to a minimum.

Changed things up a bit.

And so it goes… Heavier MP and lighter bench on Wednesday.

I concur with the other three. Nice benching regardless.

Nice benching, and nice pr’s on the seated rows. Thats some heavy rowing.

Nice work in here, LS. Great PRs on the rows!

Thanks, Gents. Scott, the close grip are a lot easier than the wide. I guess it is supposed to be that way!?
Back days are fun days, though. No expectations…just moving weight.

Bench I am just playing with. I am tired of being frustrated by it. So, I am just doing 5’s and adding 5# per week.

You dont have to be frustrated with that bench, I’d give a body part to bench 295x5. I bet the change will break that barrier you feel you have run up against.

Damn son, the Mrs is going get pissed when you try hooking up the couch to weight stack! Nice rowing LS!!

great work. i need to spend more time rowing. and lifting. and not eating

Back to the front page my friend

I’m sure you have things going on in real life, but I sure miss you posting. Take care,

Jack

I’m still around. There is a lot going on and when I am not busy doing it, I am feeling pretty anti-social (just need the down time). Nothing bad, though…just busy.

Workouts are still happening. Not much to mention other than my bench strength seems to be eeking back up. But it is still lower than before.

385x3
405x3

2 Board press
365x3 - out of gas

Face Pulls

I will try to do better at keeping up with what’s going on.

Thanks for checking in on me…

that is some big push. hope things settle down some soon.

Thanks, mj. Things will settle down. I just need a break. If I can make it until Thanksgiving, I have a 5 day weekend.

Back workout this afternoon…

that is some damn fine benching, sometiems life requires you give it that little bit of extra attention.

It could be way worse; you could have MY bench, and top out at the 185 “warm-up.”

Good work, Skip. That is some fine benching right there. I am sure you are looking forward to some well deserved time off for Thanksgiving.

Thanks Joe, AG, Jack.

Life is life. The insanity comes and goes

AG, I remember 185#. It was many years ago, but not that many pounds. You’ll be warming up with it in no time.

Nice bench session. Those are certainly some very nice numbers. Especially your 3 board press.

Thanks, Scott. It will be nice when i feel like i am back to normal.
