Football Diet, Training

Anyone know of any real good football diets and off-season training regimines.

I’m thinking about walking on at a D2 or D3 school. I’m 5’11" 220 and really want to focus on losing weight, increasing speed, and just plain getting stronger. Probably gonna try to play, FB, TE, LB, or SS.

I figure if I bust my ass during the football season this year I can have a legit shot at making a squad. A couple of kids I know that went DI got mad big just off the right diet and proper training. If anyone could help out it would be appreciated.

The positions you listed (with the exception of strong safety) all require big bodies. Why worry about losing weight? Unless you are that overweight.
