I just read some articles on foam rolling and im not sure which is better. A tennis ball or a foam roller, what do you guys usually prefer.
it’s not either or.
both have their place.
tennis balls might put more direct pressure since it has a smaller contact point.
foam rollers are convenient to cover a large muscle group quicker.

Definitely both. Tennis ball is really good for the shoulders and even the bottom of your feet, and then foam roller gets most everything else.

I use tennis balls on my forearms and, amazingly, on the back of my neck to get rid of sinus headaches - it works.
The foam roller is great under the foot for the plantar fascia, across the back, hamstrings and quads.
