I was wondering if anyone practiced or knew of any good routines to increase flexibility. I am completely stiff right now, and i wish to become much more flexible (i.e.-be able to do the splits in either or both directions, etc.). I have not even the slightest idea of how to go about increasing my flexibility, so any ideas, routines, or internet links are greatly appreciated.
Ian King wrote up something called “The Lazy Man’s Guide to Stretching”. If you do a search in the previous issue I’m sure you will find it.
Get the book “Stretching Scientifically” by Thomas Kurz. It will show how to increase your flexability in a very short time, and to any degree.
Another recommendation for Tom Kurz. His products are all for sale at his web site, stadion (you know the rest). I would also recommend his stretching video in addition to the book.
