After I took off my Vanilla Thunder starter kit, I did-

Hangcleans-185x5x3

Squats-225x3x5 (deep)

Ghr’s-4x6 + standing calves-3x5

1 set of abs but felt something tweak in my back so called it. The Hangcleans felt as good as they have in a long time. Is say I’m realistically good for 215-225 for a single right now. This is the first legs I’ve done in 2 weeks, and think I missed 2 weeks before that. Once I get back from moving ol’ girl down I’m wrecking the rack, 'cause when my squat and clean go up, so do my hops and overall explosiveness. My knee’s are (knock on wood) actually feeling decent lately, so I’m pretty pumped. If my legs can handle it, gonna play ball manana but I’m gonna have to find a new court for a bit… Ya’ll be good.

I got an idea to put some real weight into our race: If you squat 405 first, I’ll have an avatar of your choice featuring Kobe for a month. If I hit it first, you do the same with an avatar of my choosing of LBJ.

Obviously it has to be recorded. We doing parallel or ATG?

Scapegoat and rotator work

During warmups on chins I strained my left shoulder again and it kinda threw off the rest of the workout. I’ve gone as high as 225 on pushpresses before, bit I now realize it was all legs. I’m trying now to just get a little bit of leg drive and use my shoulders to lock it out. My right knee feels like I slightly hyperextended it so I might push tomorrows legs to Saturday. Ya’ll be good.

Played some pretty high intensity fullcourt ball for about an hour and a half tonight. After the first game I felt like is stunned my toe pretty bad, but had an extra pair of socks in my bag so threw ‘em on and went back at it. Turns out I ripped my toenail in half somehow? Anyway, found a new gym with more competitive games and the same equipment so that’s where I’m goin’ now. It’s also a little closer to home and work. Ya’ll be good.

Hey ya’ll, it’s obviously been awhile since I’ve posted. Took basically all of February off due to injury,burnout and my body just needing a break, and missed basically the first half of March due to a pretty gnarley hamstring pull. I got in 3 days last week and 3 days with some light sprint work one other this past week. Despite my time off, I didn’t lose too much strength and am actually feeling pretty good injury wise. I’ll be back posting more often now that I’m not all jacked up [knock on wood].

Haha, forgot I’d posted that. Once the top half completely ripped off it actually felt fine. Ya’ll probably coulda gone without that l’il nugget, but 'tis what it is.

Was in a time crunch so shot for 10-ish minutes then did upper mobs, the-

Bench-215x3x5

Db rows-80’sx4x10 + db inc-75’sx8,7,7

Giant set of band pulls, cable pressdowns and hammer curls to the ears 3 sets of 10.

Whole thing took about 40-45 minutes after warmups, and I do a few warmup sets before everything. Vet off work at 5 manana. Legs and ball after. If I can I’ll get a dunk vid up.

Food today (got to work at 7)- 8:30-ish: 4 jumbo eggs, diced potatoes, 2 strips Bacon, fruit

1:45-ish: 8-10 oz salmon, 2 cups rice, veggies

4:30- workout
After gatorade w/ scoop whey

7-7:30: girl made gluten free pasta with awesome sauce and diced chicken.

Will probably eat something before bed. My girl has a gluten intolerance and we’be been eating mostly gluten free. I apparently eat like that 90% of the time anyway, the only change has been the gluten free breads and the like. We got a glutrn free pizza crust and made some killer pizza the other day. Next time we’re at the store we’re grabbing the crust and I’ll let y’all know what it’s called. It’s killer.

Played ball for about an hour, and 2 minutes into the first game strained my left hammy, kept playing and during my second game strained the other, haha. Stretched a bit then-

Hangcleans-165 (80% max)x3,3, 175(85%) x2 was gonna work up to 90% but was feeling a little off so shut it down.

Squat-255x3x5,5,3 had 5 on the last set but my hamstrings felt goofy so called it. Did 3 sets of ham curls supersetted with 3 sets of calves and bounced.

Breakfast and lunch were same as yesterday, drank a powerade at the gym, normal shake after and 2 porkchops with leftover pasta for dinner.

Left hammy is sore to the touch today. Have the day off so gonna foamroll and stretch throughout the day. Was gonna shoot for a bit today but that’s not happenin’. Gonna lay off ball til it’s good.
