Well, all I can say about tonights workout is that being sick and not eating for 2 straight weeks makes you weaker. No worries, it’ll get where it needs to be. I’d like to set 2 month goals here, even though I’m missing at least 1 week due to travel. Anyway, by mid March I want to be back to:bench-235x5 clean (ass on bench), squat-275x5, weighted chin-+90x5, hangclean-235x1. Also want to be back to dunking with 2 hands off one foot planted. Time to get to work.

lol with how sore and stiff I get now especially in the mornings shuffling around like a retiree, and how last Saturday night laid me on my deathbed for all of Sunday, you bet it’s sinking in for me. I even traded my coupe in for a daddy wagon (Ford Edge) fml. next thing you know I’ll be getting married (saving up for he ring fml x2).

Well, lifted tonight for the second time this week. Gonna squat tomorrow then get back on my regular schedule on Monday. I fly out to Portland on the 29th (a Sunday), and I’m hoping I can sneak in a workout on Monday & Tuesday before we drive back but not sure if that’s realistic. If not no biggie, just getting tired of being so sporadic lately. The plus side is I’m somewhat getting my appetite back after 2 straight weeks of feeling like ass. Ya’ll be good.

Hope you get better man. Not being able to be consistent in the gym is always tough.

Thanks bud. I only get sick about once every 3 or so years, but when I do it’s gnarley. Fortunately this time it wasn’t “rush to the ER” bad, it’s just been one thing after an other. Starting to finally feel better though so I should be straight.

Played ball for close to 3 hours last night and I’m feelin’ it today. Haven’t done legs in 2 weeks, and think I took 2 weeks off before that. Switching squats to Monday to make sure I get 'em in. Gonna try like help to lift while I’m in Portland, at least Monday and Tuesday which is the 30th and 31st. Been slacking way too much lately.

Last night-

50 jumpers to warm-up. Don’t know how many I took, but hit my first 16 or 17 in a row. Upper mobs and foamrolling, then-

Bench-215x3x5

Scap cable rows-150x10,160x3x10 + high db inc-80’sx8,5,75’sx7

Shoulder health giant set (band pulls, Scap pushups, Scap wall slides)-3x12

Arms

Pretty good workout. Getting sick set me back a bit, but no worries. I’m either gonna play ball and do legs tonight, or play ball and do legs tomorrow. My hips and legs are still pretty sore from the 3 hours of ball the other night. Ya’ll be good.


Well T-Nation, I just destroyed my first legitimate goal. Caught a 2 hand dunk and ripped the steel cables that were holding it out of the wall and it lowered about a foot and a half. Here’s the front desk dude I had to go get standing next to it. Flash is not being held responsible. BOOYAH.
