Balancing lifting and ball is hard. I feel like I tweak my ankle or get a elbow to the hip every game that always screws up my lifting. lol. Get some rest though, my man. Don’t want you out of action when you just got back. lol

Right? Though in my case [at least here recently] most of these injuries seem to be non-contact or self inflicted, haha. Was thinkin’ the same thing so I’ma chill on ball til it feels normal. Thanks man.

This morning before work-

Chinups-5x10 + db bench-85’sx8,7,7,6

Trx rows-4x10 + seated db shoulder press-52.5’sx10,10,8

Arms. Had to push as I had to get to work. Took about 40-45 minutes and had a crazy sweat goin’. Almost lost my breakfast towards the end but maintained. Hammy is still knotted up so probably no ball manana, but am gonna do some type of leg work. Ya’ll be easy.

that’s cool you could still press with that hammy. my bench gets all fucked if my legs aren’t cooperating.

Thanks bud. Barbell would’ve been another story but I don’t seem to get much leg into the db’s. Can’t wait til I’m back handling the hundo’s so I don’t feel like such a fag, haha.

Hamstring feels pretty good today, but I’m debating on waiting til tomorrow to do legs to give it one more day of rest. Don’t get off til 8-ish so probably will.

yea buddy. I’m only about 8 weeks in, might add some cardio for 3 weeks, RFL, then hold the weight 8 weeks max then RFL again to set up a rebound going into another bulk, which is gonna be FUN with the first 4 weeks full of two a days.

Decided to take the day off. Need to ease myself into this so I don’t jack myself up again. Gonna grub and stretch and get back to it Monday. Happy Easter.

Rode the bike for a few minutes then played a couple of games of 21, then-

Bench-220x5,4,3 [At least 1 rep in the tank each set]

DB Rows-85’sx4x10 + DB Inc-75’sx8,8,7

band pulls, tri pressdowns & hammer curls- giant setx3x10

Rotator stuff.

Good workout. Have a long day at work tomorrow so gonna hit the gym no later than 10:30 in the AM, shoot a ton of shots then do legs. Ya’ll be good.

Breakfast- diced potatoes, 4 jumbo eggs, fruit medley

Lunch-2 cups rice, veggies, 8-10 oz salmon

gatorade powder and whey after gym

Dinner- gluten free pizza my girl made with chicken, mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes. The crust is from Conte’s, and it’s awesome. We just picked it up at the local grocery store, but they’re based out of New Jersey. Gonna eat something else before bed. Ya’ll be good.

Gonna hit the gym almost an hour after planned, so gonna have to rush some things but it’ll be alright. As long as I get my squat sets and hamstring work I’m good. Gonna definitely shoot at least 100 jumpers [makes] as well.

So, get to the gym about 11-ish to shoot before lifting and about 11:30 some dudes roll in saying there’s good games. I decide to wait it out and see what’s up. About noon a whole bunch of dudes come in and turns out quite a few of them play for the Texans. I’m ready to run, but they kept bullshitting so about 12:15 I dip to get a rushed lift in. I’m scheduling off days to play with those cats as I’ve set myself a new goal of dunking on a pro football player… Anyway-

Squat-255x2x5

Leg curls-2x8 + tke’s- 2x15

Banded shuffles-2x10

Hate that I had to rush and didn’t get my normal sets in, but it could’ve been worse. On Friday I’m going to do some cleans, box jumps and sprints after at least an hour of court work. Y’all be good.

Pre knee injuries I dunked on the starting point guard for UCONN while he was in town prepping for the draft, so if I can get these injuries resolved and get back on track a Texan’s goin’ down.
