Flameout Testimonials

I was over reading the Flameout article and its replies, but it seems to have been some time since someone posted a testimonial over there.

I’d really like to hear from some people about what they thought about the product and if it helped (now that it has been on the market for a while). My particular problem is tendonitis, but I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has taken the product.

I love the stuff. Had general inflammation, pain, depression, brain fog. It helps a lot.

I bulked this winter, and with this extra weight I do feel my knees and ankles get achy if I go away from my dorm for more than a day or two and forget my Flameout.

Along with Metabolic Drive and Surge, I consider Flameout an utterly essential staple.

I can definitely tell a difference in regard to joint problems (knees and ankles)and I attribute a solid portion of that success to Flameout.

I’ve tried other fish oil supplements before, but ended up having to take 20 or so just to get the same amount of quality and effectiveness.

Yep, food, water and Flameout.

If I was to spend my money on only one ‘supplement’ Flameout would be it.

How many capsules in a bottle? I read that up to 4 a day is OK, how long will the bottle last at 4x?

Appreciate the help guys…everything sounds very positive.
I wondered what this thread would have looked like if it was available, not only in “The Over 35 Lifter”, but elsewhere as well? Is there a way of receiving feedback from all the forums?

Flameout has helped me quite a bit, especially with my wrists and elbows.

By now, I would consider it an essential thing. I love it.

I screwed up my ankle running for PT one morning when the guy in front of me in formation didnt really point out the huge pothole coming a long. My ankle was two times its original size for 1 1/2 months. It was still hurting after. After taking Flameout ive seriously had no problems at all with pain or discomfort. been working well!

I like it a lot. First off it contains a high concentration quality material. Read what you actually get and compare it to other products and you will see what I mean.

Second I’m 44 and this stuff helps a lot with the aches and pains associated with training.

Third it’s a boost to your HDL which is something I need to watch since I am not the biggest fan of cardio.

One of Biotest’s best products in my opinion.

As a 45 year old lifter, it has taken away most of the inflammation in my wrists, elbows and shoulders I used to automatically associate with heavy lifting. One GREAT product.

What’s the dosage you guys are using? Thanks.

Couldn’t agree more. After I would guess at least a year if not a little longer of continuous use I have noticed the following: Increased mental acuity and positive mood enhancement, Increase in fat loss in stubborn areas i.e… “Love Handles and Gut”, and little to no joint or tendon pain even with heavy lifting.

Understand that before I started Flameout I probably was woefully deficient in getting healthy fats in my diet. I have since corrected that by using Flameout and eating more of them as well.

D

I’ve got the numbers to prove it works:

Triglycerides: 73 (under 150 is good)
Total Cholesterol: 163 (under 200 is good)
HDL: 59 (greater than 40 is good)
LDL: 89 (under 130 is good)

I’m 55 and eat a high protein diet (some form of meat at every meal - six times a day).

My 45 year old doctor said to me, “I wish my numbers were this good” and said I was officially at “very low risk” for cardiovascular disease.

Besides cholesterol, you’ve got to be aware that vascular inflammation is a big killer. It’s what does in otherwise fit guys like runners. Inflammation is quickly becoming the newest health issue and rightly so. Fighting inflammation should be one of your dietary goals and Flameout helps with that big time.

I’ll also add that fighting fibrosis should be a goal and I hope Biotest comes up with a product that fights fibrosis.

Firstly I dont know if we should consider this good empirical proof that the product is working.

Secondly, isn’t inflammation essential for GOOD immunological functions in the body. For instance, macrophages (a type of white blood cell) release cytokines to induce inflammation in the area so that more macrophages can come and kill the invading bacteria. Will anti-inflammatories (read: Fish-oil) reduce this beneficial response? Someone ask their doctor please…

wow thats a lot.
What does the bottle say for dosages? I thought the whole point of Flameout was so you didn’t have to take so many pills (there’s a higher concentration of EPA/DHA in Flameout).

They recommend 4 per day. I’m 230 and a pretty heavy lifter. Didn’t notice any benefit at 4 per day. Did notice improvement at 6.

My two cents is your benefit is dose dependent based on size and age somewhat. Don’t believe 6 is harmful. May not be necessary but not hearmful.

Of course it isn’t empirical proof, it’s a testimonial, as the thread title says.

Any “treatment” is going to have risks and benefits and so the question is if the benefits justify the risks. If you wish to make an informed decision, then you need to do the research and educate yourself and then decide. I believe it would be foolish to decide either way based on the postings in a bodybuilding website, especially considering that a large volume of clinical information is available for anyone willing to look for it.

Chronic inflammation is increasingly being recognized as a serious health risk and this is easily verified with a minimum amount of effort. For example, from Life Extension Foundation:

“Chronic systemic inflammation is an underlying cause of many seemingly unrelated, age-related diseases. As humans grow older, systemic inflammation can inflict devastating degenerative effects throughout the body (Ward 1995; McCarty 1999; Brod 2000). This fact is often overlooked by the medical establishment, yet persuasive scientific evidence exists that correcting a chronic inflammatory disorder will enable many of the infirmities of aging to be prevented or reversed.”

No need to ask your doctor or to ask here. Go look for yourself and then decide.
