Have read and watched all the LOTR but, not one of the GOT.
LOL.
You might want to check out some resources on how to take Atomic Notes. Iād use OneNote for it. Just create a page where you throw in certain concepts you come across and gradually add to them as you explore more. This is a form of exploratory discovery if you are learning a new thing, or what I use to bridge knowledge gaps for stuff Iāve studied for months. I call this my āBrain Fartā notebook:
- Add to them BRIFELY when you get more infor using ANOTHER block.
- Do NOT create too many and donāt think about organization. That comes later. This is for capturing ideas, adding and finding connections to them
If you do this right while HOLDING YOURSELF BACK FROM MAKING IT LOOK NICE AND ORGANIZED, you will gradually have enough material to just write any article, book etc about any topic youāve been using the above for.
I mentioned i went and did a silly AI series while including the Terminator series in them. This ALL came out of my head WITHOUT A SINGLE REFERENCE other than the TERMINATOR MOVIE WIKIs lol.
Iāve actually been asked to write another article since my friend went and edited the hogwash I submitted and liked the parts that were relevant lol.
I was scooping the litterbox just now and thought about encryption and getting those fucking broken pieces of crap which would slip through the scoop. I REALLY want to go deeper into this just to see how he manages to edit all the (literal) crap out LMAO!!!
EDIT:
Iāll explain why this works first by saying Iāve used something similar in law school because I had BALLS for money and had to work 8+ hour days to sustain myself and pay my school fees. I used several different physical notebooks and post it pads on the wall.
Now, the science stuff.
This is a form of active recall and spaced repetition.
By looking through the āmessā you have, your mind is actively looking for stuff as opposed to picking up a folder with all your notes in place. When you look through the mess, some stuff may surprise you since the new info you were intending to add to one block actually applies to 3 other blocks too.
This saves you from doing those Anki cards that law and medical students use nowadays. Youāre already doing it while getting a deeper understanding of concepts at the same time.
You try memorizing past sample questions if youāre intending to get professionally certified by sitting for exams every 2 years from major cloud providers and it wonāt work since the fuckers are introducing more variations of their products every other month lol.
Shit, even in law, they still retained the original syllabus the first year I attended even though the fucking Criminal Law thing I canāt remember was completely revamped in 2003. After graduating, I had to go fucking catch up with all the revisions. It was a shitshow for all my classmates but they were surprised I could get the new shit relatively easily.
This is real life.
If you are going the Data Analyst road, itās best to keep this in mind.
NOTE:
Of course you need to keep your class notes and documentation neatly organized for references. Very neatly organized so you can retrieve what you need when you need it in a couple of seconds if theyās in a folder on your PC or physical organizers. These all go hand in hand.
I watched the first 2 LOTR movies and was bored as fuck.
The 3rd one was magnificent.
I confess I just want to show off how absolutely nuked I was at the end of this set
Iāve never done drugs, I had my first drink at age 35 and only got halfway through it before I decided it was ruining a good steak, and as long as I keep doing stuff like this I canāt imagine Iām missing out.
Butā¦also I want to point out how I did NOT go to failure on that setā¦so all these dudes that are ātotally going to failure on every setā, I confess, can totally get bent.
I confess I donāt know if I have ever gone to absolute failure (though the 10K challenge has probably come the closest), only to technical failure.
After my second bout of pancreatitis (triglyceride and diabetes related) I gave up alcohol completely. I occasionally miss the taste of beer but thatās it. Thankfully there are many companies producing non-alcoholic brews that actually taste good now.
This makes me so excited to try āsuper good morningsā over break. I have just enough weights to do 3x/week, increase 5lbs/workout
@cyclonengineer I imagine thatās because you actually have enough grit in you that your point of failure is DEEP enough you have to dig for it, haha.
@anna_5588 Outstanding. And as this demonstrates: if we run out of weight, we can just do more reps.
I am experiencing the academic version of the effect where old weights feel easy after spending time doing a harder variation of a exercise.
Iāve spent the past two years working with horrid, large data sets for econometrics classes/work. Now Iām being asked to deal with experimental data and itās so ridiculously easy.
Iām working on a data task thatās supposed to take 4-5 hrs. It took me 2 whereas in the past, something needing data would have taken me at least 1.5x the estimated time
Pwn for President
A copy of Super Squats on every bookshelf
A gallon of milk in every fridge
You have my vote.
Make it fairlife
If its in every house, that IS fair life
Well this is different. Cooking Thanksgiving in a thunderstorm. ![]()
Me too. Iām outside smoking a turkey in a storm.
Still beats snow.
I confess I donāt remember the last time my wifeās family hosted Thanksgiving dinner.
I confess I was more than a little disappointed upon (re-?)discovering that, when they say, āThanksgiving dinner,ā they mean, āThanksgiving DINNERā and not āthe food we generally prepare at this time of year and eat ALL DAY LONG.ā
I confess 5:30 PM cannot arrive quickly enough!
I confess that I pretty much canāt stand all of the Thanksgiving parade stuff.
You think a couple of tethers could contain the real [what ever that thing is] ?
Gotta admit, I dont know what that is. ![]()
I think itās a PokĆ©mon
that will get all the nerds riled up
