I’m not very interested in spending money on or using preworkout, but thanks!
Parents asked me what I want for christmas. I legit could not think of anything I wanted or needed. That makes me happy

Confession: This scene just randomly came to my head
Ah yes another man of fine taste and culture.
I recently watched the Rings of Power, then went on a chronological-order binge of everything Lord of the Rings…
Now I just want to play Battle for Middle Earth again.
#JustNerdyThings
I have had racoons causing havoc in my back yard and trash cans.
I introduced their posse to the Barrett 50 last night while wearing my NODS.
Surprise MOTHER FUCKERS, now disintegrate.
You sound like a true fan. How was it?
Maybe not a true fan, just loved the battle scenes in the movies as a kid and never grew out of it; the video game emphasized this part so obviously I was in there like swimwear.
The series was good, but felt a bit forced for some sections. I guess not as forced as the LOTR trilogy felt when watching it as an adult - but it did flow more smoothly. If you like Lord of the Rings, I’d recommend it, otherwise its probably a hard miss.
I give it 7 out of 9 Rings of Power (higher if you like LOTR)
Alright! I’ve been into that stuff since I was a kid too.
I guess most of the negative reviews came from more casual fan types.
It sounds like it’s worth checking out.
Solid game.
Am I the only person that hasn’t seen any of the LOTR movies/series nor read any of the books?*
*The exception being around 10 minutes of that weird Bakshi LOTR cartoon from the seventies and 20 minutes of the Soviet version I stumbled upon as a kid.
**The same goes for Game of Thrones
I am with you there, but I did read lord of the rings in my late teens, 30 odd years ago.
I confess that I strayed into the beginner section again and now really wish I didn’t.
@dt79 @Andrewgen_Receptors I thought you two would get a kick out of this
Background: my favourite professor hired me to turn his class notes into a book. He asked me to stop in a rather abrupt place.
Me. Why did we leave out lecture 8 from the book?
Prof: oh bc I want to use this in my MBA class and it’s a bit too complicated
MBA: the Master’s Degree for people who don’t want to work hard for a Master’s.
MBA shouldn’t count as a BS, or we should split business off into its own baccalaureate classification. It taints the good name of MS degrees, and should in no way be considered as significant as an MS in Medicine, for example.
That’s right folks, we’re poo-poohing MBAs today.
Hey, fuckah you mane.
It was pretty much guaranteed acceptance with a JD and above a 3.0 in law school. Didn’t even have to take the GRE. Lots of classes carried over too.
And that was Wharton
.
University of Phoenix was offering an MBA at one point…I think that’s really all that needs to be said.
Florida Coastal offers a law degree…
Not anymore - they got their accreditation revoked last year (my wife goes to Barry Law and they took in some of the transfers)
Interesting- I figured it would happen sooner or later ![]()

.
At least my alma Mater has pretty much zero chance of losing their accreditation.
