Figuring Out a Bench Progression for a Weakling

He is a fucking idiot, plain and simple. I can’t even stand his voice, and the drama he started with Layne Norton proves that he is completely delusional. To be honest, I only watched a few minutes of maybe 3 or 4 videos and that was more than enough. He might give the odd bit of useful advice, but that’s like saying that there might be something edible in a dumpster.

Some people are just not built for this shit. OP, you may just be a lifer weakling. Have you considered this? This shit is not for everyone. For instance, there’s several guys that I’ve seen at the same gym for 5+ years. They lift the same pathetic weight and look the same pathetic way. Perhaps this is you in 5-10 years? If it was, wouldn’t you want to spend your precious time elsewhere? Just some food for thought.

Out of curiosity what is your age… your calling people kids in here? FYI…Mr Blaha is not considered some strength authority outside of Youtube and than most consider him a joke anymore. Your not going to go to even a state level Powerlifting Meet and hear the top guys talking about him. Please explain to me what makes him a authority? Who has he actually trained? What has he actually achieved ? What lift does he have that have actually been verified in competition? From what I come to understand what numbers that have been verified arent exactly considered even Elite for a Natural lifter .

I’m going to reiterate a personal observation.

Notice the noobs calling people out for listening to dogma and being close minded are all PARROTING THE SAME SHIT while the veteran lifters they call out are all probably training differently while agreeing on the same principles?

Some people are just sheep thinking they’re being contrarians because they read contrarian articles. Different sources, same sheep.

@dt79 there seems to be an influx of noobs who read a lot more than they lift, and are more than willing to engage in discussions about the subtleties of their programing and pros and cons of various training approaches, but never really seem to put any weight on the bar.

We were all noobs at one time (hell I still am) but ultimately these kids gotta understand that you have to put the work in and eat. Train like a savage and eat big.
