And that’s bullshit especially if he feels his biceps are lagging. I don’t think schwarzenegger got his biceps from some deadlifts and chins that’s idiotic.
Pros, like schwarzenneger, took steroids. Steroids enable s person to surpass their genetic limit, so any stimulus they set on any particular muscle will cause it to grow.
Im not saying barbell and dumbell curls will not produce results, infact, they will, but u will reach a point where there will be no growth in ur arms. Here u need to change something.
Deadlifts(and rock bottom squats) are ur legal steroids. I once read somewhere that deadlifts and squats cause a 1500% increase in testosterone and growth hormone for almost 2 days after doing them. Deadlifts work ur arms, back, and legs. Chinups will blast ur upper and middle back, and ur biceps. U will grow. ur arms will grow, ur lifts will increase, and u will gain minimum(if any)fat(the GH and the test u produce will ensure that).
I’ve heard this aswel bout the increase in test and growth hormone, i appreciate your input, however im still gonna go with the core biceps exercises… I think its just the process. I get bigger, bi’s get bigger. Im on it

Cheers man.
I totally agree with you. Im working real hard to bring my biceps on, i train my biceps with same intensity as anything else, however for some reason there are behind in terms of development in comparison with my other muscles.
It was only last week that i dedcided to hit them twice a week.
My original bicep day looked like this:
Gironda Curls x3
Zotan Curls x3
Single arm cable curls x3
(by now my bi’s are completely smoked)
I may do hammer curls x3
** Now on monday im doing:
Incline dumbell curls x5
cable curl x 4
Anyone with advice on how to bring on the biceps, it would be so appreciated
Barbell curls
I use do barbell curls, switched over to Gironda’s for a while. There amazing for hitting the muscle.

Hahahahahahahahahaha.
While the OP has a good base for what I assume his age is, he is still small. His biceps aren’t lagging. You don’t have lagging body parts when you weigh 160 lbs.

hey i weigh 160 and i have a few lagging body parts. i don’t agree with your statement at all although i know what you’re getting at. you don’t have to be HUGE to look good ya know.

Your bi’s look savage by the way, goin by your profile pic.
I agree with both of you. I think my shoulders are great for my size, however i also agree with the bigger you are the bigger guns your gonna have

You once read somewhere deadlifts and squats cause a 1500% increase in test? Where is that? You won’t gain any (or a minimum) of fat? What is this magical fairyland bullshit you’re spewing?
Show me someone with big biceps that does no direct bicep work.

…i’m not going to argue with you, but your advice is crap and would be better left to yourself.
I could find many, many more. And i did not say dont do any bicep work.Reread the post and try to absorb it through ur thick head, johnnytang24.And austin_bicep, i think ur response reflects ur clearly fucked up inside, and pretty much useless to this site. I was not giving u advice, but to the OP. my advice to u is this:go fuck urself.

take the dick outta your ass and stop being so sensitive. Deadlifts and chins will not give you show winnning biceps period.
THATS IT.no curls, no rows, no pulldowns.focus on the intensity of the deadlifts.

Does anyone else find this hilarious?
Steel, all I see you doing is giving shitty advice and then insulting people when they try to correct you. Can you please go fall into a hole? Hopefully no one is listening to your dumb ass.

in my opinion u need to eat more whole food, too many meal replacement drinks and bars
I understand what your saying, however to the best of my knowledge, a shake in the morning is best as it gets to your muscle much faster than whole food, you’ve gone the night without food and the muscles need the protein as soon as possible.
The shake when golfing is for convenience.
The shake before the gym is taken about 20 mins before workout, this is to have protein in my system while i train.
Shake after gym, again is for the fast delivery of protein to the broken down muscle!
Shake before bed… ??? Id rather have a shake than 150g chickhen.
This is only my knowledge, im open for recommendations to improve this
I think a high GI drink like Surge or chocolate milk would be better than just protein post workout. Or even bcaas, I don’t think just protein is doing as much as the others would, but its better than nothing. Surge is best, chocolate milk works if youre on a budget.
The shake before bed is a good idea if it is a weigh casein mix, or simply casein. To the best of my knowledge whey is useless before bed because of its fast digesting nature.
Protein shake when golfing? No problems, I think casein would be better here too (i have no knowledge on what youre using) since its being used as a “meal replacement” the slow digesting would be a good thing.
Personally I wouldn’t want to carry around liquid and would just bring some protein bars, but theres no reason a shake shouldnt work for that situation.

Regardless of bicep size, etc. nice job so far man and good luck getting even bigger.
Sound Zelazo, im really looking forward to the next few months of training…
On the subject of size. I met Dennis Fuckin Wolf today… There was a bodybulding show near enough to my home town today and Wolf was a guest poser!!!
I spoke to him for a solid 5 mins while the novice people were on stage, he was just sittting at the desk where he was signing pictures, there was no1 there at that time cause people where watching the show so i went over to him…
Oh My god he is fucking HUGE. I asked what his next 5 months will consist of before the olympia and he said he has another 3 meets where is guest posing (making alot of cash id say) and then he says two months of heavy training to put on more size and then the diet starts in July… He’s goin for top 3 in olympia, of course he wants to win, but he said he feels his muscles need to mature a bit more. He also said there is politics involved in the judging which i thought was funny. So i brought up Victor at last years show(people say he should have won), and i asked him about Victors surgery . He said he spoke to Victor last week and Victor isnt sure if he’s competing yet! He’ll only compete if he’s in 100% perfect condition.
I shoke his hand and told him it was a pleasure to talk to him! (I think he enjoyed talking to me)
Seeing someone that big next to someone closer to average size is always amusing. Glad to hear he was friendly and actually had a conversation. Some pros are pretty big dicks when it comes to their fans. I always lose a bit of respect hearing about someone being an ass.

u have a good amount of muscle and excellent definition. if u bulk up to 180 while maintaining that definition, ull look pretty intimidating.
one thing i discovered about the biceps is that they grow pretty decently with the back. Do this back workout twice a week for huge guns ,
weighted chinups 4X6-8+ 1xbw to failure
deadlifts(do these first) 4X6-8
THATS IT.no curls, no rows, no pulldowns.focus on the intensity of the deadlifts.
