Birdy’s pretty tall too as I remember, so you’re probably quite impressive IRL. Good lad

Took first in a strongman comp this month

Much appreciated. It’s been a good month for me, haha.

What was the reasoning for not passing the circus DB? 2-3 of those looked good.

We were actually pressing it for as many reps as possible. I got 3 of those 4 reps. My second attempt was the only “no rep”.

Ohhhhh. I thought it was just 1 rep each for time. Gotcha. Good work- looked like a lot of fun!

I thought I’d put up a progress picture from yesterday. Just over 6’2" and weighed in at 92.1kg fasted. I’m 13 weeks into a slow cut and I train with kettlebells (I have a 40-page log on here: Furo’s Kettlebell Log).

Don’t mean to be a dick furo, but there’s definitely something wrong with your face. Son, you’ve got a condition…

Lookin solid!

Unfortunately there’s no training that can be done for the face! Haha! Thanks man

You should premabulk to achieve freak status so that no one will notice your face due to the gravitational pull of your center of mass. And even if they did, no one would dare mention it just by the way you walk into a room. So, the only solution is more cheeseburgers.

When is “more cheeseburgers” not the answer?

Been keeping my training fairly simple the last few months. I ended up in hospital for a few days after contracting a rare eye infection, however kept training throughout to keep myself sane.

Nice work Furo. Looking strong and you have definitely have lost some body fat %.

What shoes are you wearing?

Thanks a lot theBird! Looking great yourself. This is a comparison of the first 12 weeks of my cut.

The shoes are minimus new balance. I got them for a more bare-foot style of shoe but tbh I don’t really like them that much. It felt better running in my super cheap flat soled casual shoes.

Great progress, Furo. I realize your 92kg now, but what weight did you start at?

Great progress LoRez! And looking good LordChongUno :). Hope you make a full recovery soon.

Thanks a lot Dr P! I started this cut at 97kg. I plan on getting down to 90kg then re-assessing.

Its amazing to see what 5 kg’s does visually. You have inspired me to get back on to my “slow cut”.
