Feb '15 Photo/Video Check-In

Folks currently lurkin’ gotta check in too. These are some box jumps I did a few weeks back, weighed out at 111.4kg that day (uh, about 245.5 pounds). Don’t really film any of my training (competitive weightlifter) and this was the only semi-recent video I had, and this only because a friend called me out on the height.

Hopefully the video loads.

EDIT: I can’t see the video, epic fail. Try something else:

Good for you for getting back at it. I know how tough it can be to drop weight as a female in middle age. Are you logging your progress anywhere?

And great legs, Bullpup!
Thanks for the complement. I am keeping track of my weight and tracking my meals on a site called Sparkpeople. Perhaps I will keep track of the goals that I accomplished on my profile page.

I workout out at LA Fitness five days a week.

(If anyone has a/some suggestion/s or comment/s please write a reply. I am here to listen and learn)

My routine:

Cardio- I do cardio five days a week, most of the time (95% of the time). My goal is to burn 3,500 a week. It is just burning 500 calories a day. I make this goal about once a month, and hope to meet it more often as I become more disciplined. I use free weights & weight machine for weight training.

Monday
Legs, Shoulders, Chest, Forearms
Tuesday
Biceps, Triceps, Back
Wednesday
Legs, Shoulders, Chest, Forearms
Thursday
Biceps, Triceps, Back
Friday
Legs, Shoulders, Chest, Forearms

Thank you for the encouragement! I have maintained the weight that I’ve lost since June of last year, (7 months) but have not lost any additional weight. I am trying to figure out what exactly I am doing wrong… I think I know though- time will tell. I am very determined. I have a close relationship with God. He helps me every day, but now after writing that I know that doesn’t make since because I haven’t lost weight since June. However, I am maintaining my weight and sometimes maintaining lost weight is harder than losing weight… But I know that sometimes I am not doing my part when it comes to eating the correct things all of the time. Well, I think it is good to snack on unhealthy stuff sometimes, so I guess what I meant to say is… I don’t know anymore! LOL

Taken this morning weighing 112.5kg (248lbs)

Lol.

It’s a tradition now. I know Colucci cringes everytime a new Check-in thread gets started.
You say 'tis tradition, I say 'taint.

Bah, I forgot you’re extra tall. Looking wide, man, and not just from the horizontal stripes.

To stay true to this thread and try to get it back on track, a video from my training today

“Dueling Press Ladders” 200lb axle/200lb log, clean once and press away. Start with 1 rep per side and keep adding a rep until failure.

6 weeks into a 12 week cutter. Posting here before even in my log because you guys are so cool. It lacks any 'taint, please forgive me. ~180 in this photo

I’m coming in at 258-260. Up 30lbs from a year ago and down 10lbs from November. Trying lean out to roughly 12%. I let myself go for a year after getting married.

T-Nation Scotland standard issue!

I do powerlifting, but I don’t have any training vids. I am always trying to gain weight however, here are my progress pics showing before training and now. Gained about 65lb in just over 2 years.

Not a good thing. Why are you two sharing shorts?
LOL!

Glad to see someone else just dicking around in this peackock-of-a-thread!

I think this is more of a ‘DYEL’ thread, and less of a peacock thread, Clunkie my freind~

economic downturn has hit Scotland hard! Diddy and I are trying to make do as best we can.

Last few months have been crap progress for me. No idea why, I’ve just gotten weaker. May have just been life adjustments and added stress of the ‘real world’ now that I’ve graduate.

Regardless, this is me at 207 and not the fattest. Every year I get a little heaver at the same leanness, so I guess I can’t be too upset.
