Thanks man. I’m excited to see your progress on the V-diet. Dan John talked about it a ton in “Never Let Go”, and it sounds really interesting.

Planning on some KB snatches tonight including possible PR set or two, will grab a vid and upload tomorrow from my computer.

quick arm shot at second job.

No bent press updates from anyone?

I am disappoint.

KB Snatches from tonight’s workout (44 pounder).

Recently completed 100 reps in 5 minutes with a 35. Now working towards mastery of that same time/reps combination with a 44 and, eventually, a 53. Hopefully while keeping BW steady (208 at my last weigh-in) or dropping slightly.

I have been very sick for 1.5 years. I am healthy now, but I gained weight while I was ill. I have worked out most of my adult life. (for 25 yrs.) During my time at the gym I have always lifted weights and love everything about weight training. I know you can’t see any muscle on my body, but fine definition is there- both my upper & lower body. However, I don’t look anything close to being a body builder. I just joined this site, and have no pictures to share which expose much of my body. I hope that it is ok to share the photo above. My goals are to add muscle and lose fat.

Good for you for getting back at it. I know how tough it can be to drop weight as a female in middle age. Are you logging your progress anywhere?

And great legs, Bullpup!

Ya, just started teh V-diet so I’ll post on the 28th also.

I did hit a 350x7 deadlift on Friday, which is a rep pr for me.
Good for you on both the diet and the lift. I’ll be interested to hear what you think of the V diet. I am thinking about doing one beginning in May (going to try to get as lean as possible prior) and then using it for a final push. I pulled 495X1 (Avi pic) which was huge for me. I know not all that impressive for a lot of guys on this site… but I was motherfucking excited about it.

Cool man. I’ll definitely let you know how it goes.

From a couple of days before February, but whatever close enough.

510 x 2 Sumo Beltless. Was pretty proud of this since I don’t sumo deadlift and I never train beltless.

Also I feel like my quads are somewhat respectable now. If only my calves would get the memo.

Killer work as usual. Especially from the guys and gals coming back from time off/injury. Always a good dose of motivation.

That was a crazy grind to lockout, like 6 straight seconds of no-quit. Very impressive, man.

Thanks for nothing. I was going to stick it where the sun don’t shine, but now I’ve got no good storage options.

I see you’ve been working on your taint. Lookin’ solid.

It’s a tradition now. I know Colucci cringes everytime a new Check-in thread gets started.
That’s ok. I’ve been wondering where Carroll found that slant play, now I have a pretty good idea.

Pretty sad for Miss Glittergirl that her beautiful photo had to end up right below mine. Boy howdy, if that (solid) taint a stroke of bad luck on her part.
It doesn’t matter to me. I was kinda shocked to see your ass, but… whatever. LOL Oh & BTW thanks for saying my picture was beautiful.
