Favorite NES & SNES Game

After many posts from mthomps’s PS1 thread, it got me thinking. What’s your favorite game for both NES & SNES.

NES, Hand’s down it has to be Contra ( up up down down left right left right A B select start. Anyone remember? lol.) Zelda comes really close! However, I did enjoy the Ninja Gaiden and Double Dragon series…

Zelda on the SNES was great.

My favourite though, especially when having drinks with mates, was 4 player BomberMan.

FF3
Mario Kart
Super Mario World
Mario RPG
Mega Man X series(loved the armor boosts)
Breath of Fire series
Chrono Trigger
Earthworm Jim
Zelda
Soulblazer/Illusion of Gaia

SNES is by far my favorite system so this list could literally span like 50 games that I still go back and play on emulator actively, it wouldn’t be fun to leave nothing for others to list though =p
