As soon as you turn your training into Math Homework, youāll spend more time doing that than actually Training. Whenever someoneās program says āuse 75% 1RMā, the reps I get never match the programās.
One Word Answer: Experimentation. Start with something easy and concentrate on Progression from there forward. And experiment with rep ranges above and below your āusualā from time to time.
There is no magic formula though for fatigue vs stimulation, and depending on the load and how the set is performed, the type of fatigue varies a lot (from Pcr, through glycogen, through waste products). With multi-sets you have rest periods that let fatigue subside, etc. Stimulation seems to be based on ātension-timeā so that is the main variable to adjust.
