and do the fat chicks think we are stupid when they take their “myspace snaps” from above, so we cant see their triple chins and anything past their fat boobs.
do they really expect us not to notice that they are oversize.
my rule of thumb for myspace browsing is that if a chick wont post her whole body shes fat.
True Manthony, and also true, 781. I’m tubby and I only post face pics elsewhere. Months ago before I started getting in shape I only posted pics from years ago before I let myself go. Here is the only place I post full pics, because as has been mentioned, when you’re actively pursuing a better body and can back it up, you’re respected here.
I will say though that there are a decent amount of fat people whose faces don’t necessarily reflect how their bodies look (and vice versa- some thin people have chubby faces). I’ve gotten away with people thinking I’m not fat (online) for FAR too long just because I have a nice face. Many of my military friends who live in other places probably don’t even know how big I got, or am now. There’s a reason I use my face for my avatar, lol. It will be nice when I reach a point where my full body looks good enough to use for my avi.
On a related note, ugly chicks will turn their heads and take side view pics. Like they’re being shy. Hair falling in front of part of their face. A few of my friends with less than stellar faces do that and although I’d never say anything about it, I think it’s weird. I also think it’s weird when pretty girls wear tons of makeup- if they’re pretty to begin with, it kinda defeats the purpose. I guess we’re all hypocritical to some extent; there are an awful lot of ways to project a better version of yourself than the one that actually exists.
Are men as bad about this stuff? Maybe men just don’t have the amazing denial capacity that women do. Perhaps why most guys just don’t use their own pics at all for their avi’s, eh?
i know guys who take at least an hour or two to “get ready”.
i only know the areas around me but if you do a myspace search of men 18-30 in Revere (mad guidos) and the same in Lawrence (mad puerto ricans) youll find a ton of metro dudes.
theres tons of guys who add fancy backgrounds and font to their pics, use angles, flex their abs, and probaly put a pair of jordans next to their face. i may have to do a search of my own just for fun.

Eh, well, I think I check my myspace page about every 2 or 3 months, just to see if any old friends were looking for me. It got old a long time ago. And I’ve never even checked out this facebook thing. My best friend is a raging metro. Metro guys are automatically lumped in with the “funny gay friend” friend zone. Thank goodness for T-Nation, it reminds me real men (outside of my family) exist.
you dont seem bad though. its hard to tell cause your pics are so small even when thumb’d but im sure youre not grotesque. youre probaly on like 8 pounds away from having zero flab whatsoever. then you get a nice haircut, tan, some oversized glasses and everyone will want to bang you including chicks.
be thankful you only need to lose a little weight cause at least your face is easy on the eyes.
UHHH that pony tail and those glasses!!! just kidding theanj, you look alright. Were not talking about women like you who only need to loose 10lb, were talking about women who are like 5’3" and 180+lb.

whats with these fat people i see everywhere, women who are easily 240lbs trying to be fashionable? like ok you really think you can cover up your grotesqueness with $300 dollar sunglasses, makeup and a Gucci bag?
how about getting to the root of the problem and dropping a couple pounds like 50 or two.
like really who do they think theyre kidding? like oh youre wearing some D&G’s so now MY eyes are covered too and youve suddenly transformed from Mimi Bobeck to Nelly Furtardo.
the other thing that bothers me is this sympathy towards fat people. like these fat black comedians who think that by telling themselves time after time again that “fat is beautiful” it magically becomes so.
im sorry but nothing beautfiul can come from eating 3lbs of mcdonalds a day with some nachos later. and guess what else, if you really were beautiful you wouldnt get up and stand on stage talking about it.
if Jessica Alba got on stage and said yea, im so hot, huh you guys want this? wooo yeah i know you do. omg im sooo hot. people wouldnt pay to see that because we all know shes hot but they came for a comedy show not a mirror peptalk. why can Mo’Nique do it?
because shes not beautiful, its a comedy show so theres a contrast. she thinks shes pretty so its funny because shes not. get it? hahaha jokes wooo.
i think i should do comedy. i could probaly get on stage say that whole rant and get a groupie to blow me, maybe Mo’Nique.
I fully agree here. Fat people are visually grotesque no matter what they do and no fashion statements can redeem that. Yeah I definitely sounded like an asshole there but here me this, my old man’s a heart surgeon and I’ve seen him cut open chests and literally dig out pounds of white lard from obese people just to get to there struggling heart.
Your right, you cant hide being fat either. I like how the college girls right now are wearing those dresses with the high belt. They think we cant see their bellies or big butt but its so obvious when you see a skinny girl next to her in the same thing. Same with those black&white jogging shorts their all wearing. Its obvious bitch.
781 and elano, I’m not doggin’ on myself, I was agreeing with you about how fat chicks try to hide the fact that they’re fat, lol, and how silly it is.
And I do have room to talk, since I’m chubby now (yes, 184 lbs. when you’re 5’6" and have 30% bodyfat, that qualifies as chubby, I’m not delusional anymore) and the highest I remember the scale being was at 223 lbs.- I have a pic on my page at 115 lbs. to prove it.
That said, I never went around wearing skin tight shit or a bikini, but it is funny, how when you’re fat, if you don’t have to SEE a pic of you being fat, if you can just come up with that funny-angled pic of yourself where the rolls are hidden,
Well your brain can compartmentalize all the bad pics into a discarded recycle bin, and keep that one not-so-fat pic up in your head as the real version of you. It’s sad.
If everyone had to post full body shots of themselves, I think a lot more people would head to the gym.

You have the most fucked up way of “complimenting” someone.

You look great, and you’ll obviously get better with time, Anj. It’s about what YOU want for yourself.
I’m not telling you anything new, but i’m just saying…

Haha, it’s all good, I’m Irish, my ego really doesn’t need stroking. (ok ok fake American Irish, before someone like thosebananas calls me out, lol)
Everyone can use improvement, which is why I’m here.
And the point of the thread is that most people don’t realize that, or do but don’t do anything about it, and it has become completely acceptable to wade around in this sea of fat unhealthy ignorant misery disguised as bliss.
What is considered average today would have been fat 50 years ago, or even 30. The trend is scary.

Now try finding someone lactose intolerant in the same demographic.
This thread went from LiveFromThe781 ranting about how fat people aren’t fooling anyone, to LiveFromThe781 hitting on a girl who openly admits she’s chubby.

no offense to anyone but my fav is the booty short wearing overly obese woman and the enormously large men with wife beaters… I come from the land of large poorly clothed people.
