Hey guys, do you think we should make a new thread? This one’s getting quite long (again.)
Grandmaster - Ok, ok, I’ll chill. ![]()
I would definetly recommend Advanced Protein for Fat Fast. I ran out just before the week-end - made the fast hard to tolerate. Funny thing is before trying it, all the other powders mentioned in this thread seemed alot eaiser on the palate. I guess I spoiled now. Had to resort to 2 whole meals just to keep my sanity. Will weigh-in on Thurs. - Day 10. Keep at it guys!
Well here it is Day 34 my second last day on the Fast. I must say that it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Get through the first week or two and it gets easier. What I find really funny now is that I am scarred to eat real food. I don’t want to lose the look I have right now. My plan is to ease into a normal diet again. Something along the lines of the T-Dawg. I am going to slowly inch my calories up to maintanence lever over the course of 5-7 days all the time keeping my proteins and fats high and my carbs low. I will do my final weigh in and measuring tomorrow and will post my final results. Keep up the good work people, the rewards are worth it.
Day 11 - Eating only liquids is difficult, but everyday I’m seeing a visible difference while using liquids. If it gets too hard, I’ll add in more real foods, but right now I’m doing ok. I’m looking forward to hitting the 2 week point
Keep going people. Oh and Bigdawg, great job. You are my inspiration. 34 days is awesome!!! Are you gonna find a creative way to show us your pic like like Nate did? I’m gonna when I’m done. If some people flame me like they did Nate, I’ll just laugh at them through my computer screen ![]()
Ok final day for me and what a ride it was. As difficult as it was at times I would do it all over again. I must say what made it so easy was having a reason like my wedding in May as a goal to look great. The wedding is off, but I was still able to last the last week with all the stress and emotional stuff going on in my life and I am proud of myself for sticking it out through this. My final totals are 23 pounds of fat lost and a shade under 4 inches off my waist in 35 days. My strength didn’t decrease and I didn’t lose any mass. This was very expensive for me but I would do it all over again in a second. I might do another 2 weeks at the end of May just to get even tighter for the summer. Ironbabe and the others on it, keep it up, if I can do it so can you. If I can be of any help to any of you just let me know. I will post from time to time as to how my body is reacting post Fat Fast.
Day 12- Still here. Anyone still on this with me?
I’m still with you Ironbabe. Day 11. I originaly planned to hold off on starting the fast until warmer weather. However, the posts on this thread really inspired me to start sooner. Some days are better than others. The weather here in NYC has been terrible the last 2 weeks. I’m always cold. Glad I started though. This diet is a true test of will. Feel thinner, look thinner - will weigh and measure on Sunday morning. I would like to thank everyone who has posted. You have all helped to keep me going.
Tone - I’m glad your on this too. Looks like we are about the same amount if time on too. That’s very cool. I got my bf% measured today and it said 13.5% bf so I have 5 whole pounds to lose. I just wish I could lose a pound a day like some people were
. My husband has a good bit more to lose - maybe even 25 lbs. He’s gonna be on this longer than I.
Help! I want brownies! Mac -n- cheese, pizza, anything bad for me!!! Ok. I feel better now. Just had to get that out. Day 13 - ignoring my cravings, seeing noticeable difference every morning. I’m gonna be one hell of a strong willed woman by the time this diet is over.
Still hanging in there! Day 12. Developed some flu-like symptoms yesterday that miraculously disappeared upon eating a whole foods meal of lean beef and cottage cheese w/flax oil. Not many people posting lately. I hope its only because of the holiday and tax time. Ironbabe, I would also love to be one of those people that lose a pound a day on the fast. I am staying away from the scale right now because after a few days on the fast I actually gained pounds. I freaked-out and figured that either something was wrong with my scale or with me. I plan to weigh-in at my gym this week-end. I will post my results. I would like to drop around 25 pounds by fast end. Hang in there!
Day 1- All the happy memories of carbs are still fresh in my mind. This is my second time on the fat fast and I am looking to lose about 14-17 lbs of fat in 21 days(going on holiday) ,going to have a carb meal every five days probably after a workout.Anyone else still on this SOB diet? Hang in there tone i’m with ya!
I’m still here. Day 14. I was beginning to think this thread went the way of “Worst Pick-up Lines” and “Best Condoms”. Lost about 13lbs so far. My arms look a little smaller but feel much harder. Endurance is shot, but strangely enough, my lifts have all improved. Thanks for the company FFB. Ironbabe and hubby, still on? Take care!
I was planning on starting a much stricter T-dawg diet today (after nearly a month of terrible eating habits… ech), but I logged on to t-mag for the first time in ages (it seems), saw this thread, and decided what they heck.
So this is day one for me. I’m also starting a GVT2000 sorta program (had been on a maintence program since last month; I worked out/dieted hardcore from April 00 til Dec 00, and it’s been slipping gradually ever since) this afternoon, so my goal between the two is to drop 20 pounds of fat in 4-5 weeks (Right now, I’m 6’3, 195, about 17% bf)
Anyways, I’m thinking I’m gonna go 3 shakes/2 meals (chicken or tuna) per day and flax oil capsules, along with MD6, Tribex, and Methoxy (I’m 17, so I don’t exactly wanna go the androsol route). We’ll see how this goes. Thanks to BigDawg for the inspiration. Tone and Ironbabe, I think you’ve got a new compatriot in this (insane) experiement.
Take it easy
I don’t really post that much, but I’m still hangin’ in. I’m on day 14. My “offical” weigh in is tomorrow, but as of my last weigh in I’ve lost 15 pounds. My last measurement a week ago showed an 1" loss around my waist. I’ve had a couple of days were I feel sick, but a little steak or cheese makes me feel better. For the most part I’ve been able to keep the carb cravings to a minimum. Stumbled a bit last night. Roommates made ham for Easter, I snached a small piece, but it had some honey glaze on it. Opps, that was a mistake. Back on track today.
Still here, fell off the wagon yesterday - those damn chocolate eggs got me. Well, I’m picking myself up and continuing on. Hubby was off yesterday too. I’m starting my “day counting” over. I wanna do 28 days strait, no cheating. So - day 1 of 28. Hungry as hell. Hubby’s back on too. Cheating isn’t worth it - today is the hardest day yet.
Well, here I am, a lurker, going to contribute his 2 cents to this thread. Myself, a friend, and my fiancee just started the FF today.
I think since everyone here has proven that this diet works, I’m going to concentrate on describing how I feel, more then specific results, in the hopes that I can help fill out the facts a bit. Obviously this will be pretty subjective (noone can feel quite the same as me), but perhaps it can give some newcomer like me an idea of what the FF is like. This is my first Keto diet, and I haven’t really been training too long (maybe 4-5 months?). If you want any more info on me (weight etc.) for comparison just ask.
Since our order of Andro is still a few days away, I’ve started the FF andro free. As well, since (and I have NO idea why - can someone explain?) Biotest won’t ship MD6 to Canada, I’m doing the ol’ EC stack. I’m not sure I like it too much, but it does kill my appitite and keep my energy levels up.
Worked out this morning, trying to hit the 8-10 rep range for 5 sets, at 70% of max with the 5 set a superset - rest between sets was a timed 60 seconds.
Higher reps made me feel more fatigued then usual, and seemed to increase my heartrate a bit, so I was a little warmer then usual. Still got the pump.
I don’t like the shakes (Designer Whey + Udo’s + a bit 'o fibre). They’re kinda nasty, but I get them down. I got a bit of heartburn, and a bit of stomach upset, but otherwise I feel the same as I normaly do on EC stack - jittery and high strung. I’m sweating alot more from it, and occasionally my skin crawls. As well (and this is the fun part), I’m pissing a rediculous number of times a day (I’m trying to drink about 3-4 litres of water a day). As well the EC makes me REALLY tense, so my abs are a little crampy.
That’s it today. I’ll keep my future posts short. Feel free to ask me questions and offer encouragement!
Cheers
I’m about to start the diet and I’ve been reading all the posts on the forum about this diet. I keep reading conflicting ideas about what to do if you are unable to get androsol or even roids in general. Since I live in Canada and everything is pretty much illegal here, I was wondering if there is anything else I could take which would have a similar effect to it. And is there anyone who’s completed the diet without the use of steriods who’s seen no muscle lost?
Day 15 today. I actually survived Easter! It wasn’t easy, kids eating chocolate, sister-in-law serving Chocolate Cheesecake for desert, and beer everywhere. I can proudly say I’ve lost 14lbs so far and little over 3" off my waist (wow!). Pants fit better and all, but I still have a few more inches to go. Overall I’m very happy with my progress. This is my first keto diet and things seem to be going well.
Jeremy either do a lookup on my name go through all the posts on this and the previous threads. I am from Canada and have done this without Androsol or real anabolics with great results. I explained everything I did, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Go for it man, good luck to you. To those on it, keep it up folks.
