Fat Fast Support Group- The Sage Continues

Day 8, still on the diet. I survived the weekend!!! I ended up eating a bit more than I should have, but I stayed on the diet rather than getting off of it. This was a hard weekend because my hubby was gone camping and I was lonely as hell. Normally I’d have pigged out. I was proud of myself for keeping with my goals :). Now, to get back to hardcore dieting.

Day 2. Have taken a small step down a long road!!. Feeling good at the moment, down 5lbs already (mostly water I’m sure). Get hunger pains but filling up with diet coke and using ephedrine to control them. I am having 4 shakes with flax during the day and then three boiled eggs in the evening. Want to stay on this for 4 weeks. You guys and the progress you’re making are an inspiration to me!!

AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! thud reach…reach…try harder… AAAAAAAAHHHHHH THUD that was me, falling off the wagon. and, though i reached i could not quite make it back on. sorry, it’s all over for me. you know that feeling when you swallow a really BIG pill and it gets ‘stuck’ and your esophagus spasms for about an hour around it? i’ve had that for about five days now…constantly, mostly at the very top of my throat. that feeling coupled with my four solid days of nausea have proved to me that this diet is not what i should be doing to my body. i’m going to give myself a controlled break, and pick up the ‘eat like a man’ diet right after easter. everyone stay strong! if this diet is working for you stick with it!! BUT pay attention to your body! if after 14 days you have not adjusted it may not be the correct eating plan for you. good luck all!!! former fat faster, michelle

BigDawg: Excellent post. You’ve given us some guidelins on how to do Fat Fast if FDA yanks Androsol. I’ve saved your msg. on my PC just in case I need the information later. I just want to say one thing to some people here. If you can’t take the protein shakes and you’re about to dump the diet because so, then eat solid foods. I’ve done FF with shakes only, shakes & solids, and solids only, and I got results from all. Just because Brock took in shakes, it doesn’t mean you have to.

So are you guys sayin that you don’t need to get all you Protein from just Shakes??? Well, just as long as the solids have next to no carbs right??? Any other suggestions to make the diet a little more possible??? Wats up with the FDA??? Anyway, does anyone know if they sell ANDROSOL at the GNC in the NIAGARA OUTLET MALL on MILITARY RD in BUFFALO. I don’t mind driving down 1 hour and half for some kick ass SHIT you know wat I’m saying. And how much is the ANDROSOL??? I got a GNC card to bring the price down a bit but, Canadian cash ain’t work much these days.

I don’t think GNC carries Biotest products. You might try the major gyms like PowerHouse or Gold’s. PowerHouse where I live sells Biotest.

GNC does not carry biotest, and Gold Cards are only good on the frist Tuesday of every month anyway. Solids are fine to use on the diet, but you have to watch the calories and fat, and make sure you’re getting enough of the good fats that you need on the diet! I was having chicken breasts with flax-chili-garlic oil over them after cooking. It tasted qiute good, tuna with the same oil is good too. and an off topic comment, unless you are ‘yelling’ please do not type in all capitals…it is hard to read.

Does anyone know where I can get ANDROSOL and MD6 in the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, or even down in the Niagara Falls-Buffalo area. A Gym or Health food store that carries most of the Biotest line. A phone number of the place would be good too. Thanks in advance. ASAP if possible, I want to get ripped really quick for a wedding in about 2 months.

Day 28 for me…fell off the wagon (like Michelle) a few times, but nothing terrible, I just ate some pizza! :stuck_out_tongue: I think my few screwed up meals slowed the weight loss, but I didn’t blow up or anything, and felt kind of good again at the gym! (nice to feel the pump again!) I’ve been adding more solid meals, because, damn it, all that whey protein and flax is giving me the runs! Yuk! I like that cottage cheese concoction, good stuff…good luck all–maclar

Day 8 - I’m stickin’ to the diet very well, although tempted a lot (went to see Chocolat this weekend … that was not smart :slight_smile: - good movie by the way). Today was the first time I noticed my endurance is crap. I’m doing a modified GVT2K program with higher reps than the article TC wrote a while back. Strength seems good though. I’m down about 10lbs and lost a good 2" on my tire. I to beleive that I am “blessed” by genetics and never get rid of the tire fully (surgery may be an option in the very distant future, but I won’t stop trying for a while yet :-). Have fun, and stick to your diet.

BeaR: Yes, it’s true. You can completely eat solid foods on this diet. Just eat mostly protein and fat w/ small carbs. Don’t worry about getting the exact ratios. A 200 calorie meal could be something like three boiled eggs (actually 210 calories); two pieces of American cheese w/ three slices of Oscar Meyer lean ham sandwhich meat; or 3 oz. Louis Rich chicken breast strips mixed w/ peanut oil. You can also pick up low carb cookbooks and bake a big piece of meat and evenly divide it into five feedings. Make sure you know the calorie counts.

The ratios of the macronutrients on the Fat Fast is very important. I am doing this with the protein shakes only with 1 real meal every 5 days or so and I am not doing to say that eating real foods won’t work because it looks like some people have done it with success but if you use real foods still make sure that half your calories come from protein and the other half from fat. The idea isn’t to eat low carbs but to eat no carbs if possible, the problem is most people have protein powders with small amounts of carbs in them. My Carb intake was between 14-19 grams a day, just because my protein powders contained these amounts. If you are going to do a low carb diet then try T-dawg or one of the other diets in the Diet Manifesto Article.

Day 10. I starting to feel like a FF vet. My cravings have gone away, my abs are trying to break through. I don’t know how much fat (#'s)I have left to lose, but I’m gonna get my bf% tested soon so I can know how close I am to being done. I figure I may shoot for getting a little “too lean” so that when I get back on carbs if I put on a little it won’t make me need to lose fat again. Hubby is down a size in pants - looking great. I started taking the flax oil caps because I can’t handle the oil anymore. I’d rather take 12 pills than swallow the oil anymore. It was starting to gag me. I went all liquids (advanced protein is AWESOME) yesterday, I think it might work better for me. It sucks not to have real food, but I “feel” like I had better results yesterday. I’ll keep you posted if all liquid works best for me. I’m still testing it out. I haven’t been the best at taking my fiber, but I’m not having any problems - I wonder why?

ironbabe…just how much better is Advanced Protein? I’m getting sick of these thin whey protein powders, using EAS Simply Whey right now. Damn it, if it would make the diet easier, I’ll pick me up some Advanced!

ironbabe - try mixing the flax into your shakes. you won’t even taste it!!!

Advanced protein tastes so much better I will never buy designer protein again. It’s much thicker and tastes MUCH better.

mp- I can still taste it in the shakes. It's the aftertaste that gets me.
