Exercises for Speed

I’ve just started Ian Kings leg workout, ‘Limping into October’. The workout is split into two days, ‘A’ with quad dominant exercises, and ‘B’ with hip and glute dominant exercises. Should I modify any of the routines to become more specific to increasing speed, rather than strenght, and which exercises should I include. For example, doing squats on both days instead of one etc etc

i wouldn’t mess around with anything, in fact I think if you look at later phases (2,3 or 4) you will see option if speed is your goal
