Does anybody have any suggestions for working speed training (~60% of max performed explosively) into your workouts? Should speed days be completely seperate? Thanks
A basic west side barbell way to do it is
day 1 max effort squat
day 2 GPP
day 3 max effort bench
day 4 Gpp
day 5 dynamic effort squat (speed day)
day 6 GPP
day 7 dynamic effort bench (speed day)
day 8 Gpp
and then repeat… resting when you need to.
I like to take a day off every 3-5 days
