DDay, Joe and Big Matty - Thanks, my BP was going nicely until I decided to take a mental/effort vacay day…dumbass goat.

Junk Day 20 minutes bike, 20 min foam roll/stretch/mob work…left hip and hammies tweaked from the collision with the dog.

Famers Carries - 2x60pacesx75"s, 2x80pacesx75’s…the gym was light traffic this AM so I was able to extend my track up to 80 paces…100 paces with 90’s by the end of July. Dat be Da goal.

I was alternating the carries with one arm BB MP’s…interesting challenge to balance the bar… just thought I would try something different…man o man could I feel my shoulder girdle working to stabilize the bar. added 5’s and did a total of 4 sets…FUN. Could be a new junk day item!

Painting will totally wreck your workouts. No worries, its good for your shoulders.
Big dogs however will wreck your body. Better work on explosive lifts to help dodge those bad boys when they come at you full speed. I had a Rottie once that did an open field tackle on me as I was reaching for a high frisbee. Left me horizontal 6 feet in the air. Not good.

Gym is closed tomorrow so for cardio it will be a super long walk with the gorillas and some slosh pipe.

JW there are probably 10-12 people up on the cardio equipment and between 4-8 people lifting. By the time I leave the gym at 6AM that number is up to 20. But the nice part is I basically can take over a power rack and no one bothers me and I am not holding anyone up. Oh the 8 degrees isnt bad, it’s the fact that I leave a nice warm bed to go experience it!

I’m not sure what is going on with my new gym in California. It’s 40K sq. feet and emptier than before the holidays. Where are the resolutionists? Have they left California for Mass?

I bought my own, JW. Carting them in and out of the gym is part of my workout!!

What kind of a gym do you train in? Is it a PL gym or a commercial one…I would love to have chains as well make sure you wear some sun block on that balmy 24 degree weather

Matty its a commercial gym. 50 degrees here yesterday, finally put up the 3 new storm doors I had bought 3 months ago!
