Anyway, I never understood the tough guy mentality that you could whoop a trained fighter 'cause you outweigh 'em or bench more or whatever. You wouldn’t challenge an accountant to a math contest, so why challenge a fighter to a fight, regardless of weight?
I am NOT untrained. I’ll take that fight all day every day. Just like I’ll get all my money in the middle with top two against a flush draw. The only people that seriously talk about this shit are people on the internet. What false bravado?

smfh I spent more than half my fucking life training various disciplines. Give me a fucking break. I’ll fight anyone but if I’m not willing to fight someone giving up 100lbs to me, please help me shoot myself now.

You are a 45 year old man living in a dream world. 45 means slow, i’m not untrained weekend beerfest fights don’t count. Tell us about your training, your posts made me think you were some tough 12 year old.
lol precious. I still run a sub 5 40 at 265 and 45 years old. I can still grab the rim. Yup, I’m slooooow. LOLOLOLOL. I really don’t care about jerking off with you over the internet. I know this though. I just put a nice big pot roast in the crock pot with carrots, potatoes onions, seasoning…hmmmm.

I’m going to eat before the club tonite. It will be a free party, it will be capacity and it will be bananas. We will have a long nite. Measuring my dick with a guy from Japan does not matter to me

But since you’ve asked, I’ve trained boxing, muay thai, and like I’ve said before, enough ground work to keep me out of trouble…along with stealing what works and things I like from other disciplines. Hmm I can smell that roast already :)
So much bull shit here, but whatever.
I’ve always thought he was completely full of shit as well, too much tough guy talk that sounds like it was lifted from the diary of Charles Bronson and Quento Tarantinos baby. Then again, he really could be billy badass, which I guess is kinda the point of this thread. You never know.

Hey I’m still new here and haven’t read the whole thread, but as a ‘‘young guy’’ myself (20), small guys acting badass are usually the most insecure of all. It’s all an act and they’ll keep it up unless you cross the line, then they’ll be very nice and apologize.

You did the right thing, getting physical with twigs dosen’t really do anything, you know you’ll smash him and you have nothing to prove. He didn’t listen and the whole gym probably thinks he’s an asshole now.

And I’m thinking…this dude is either the world fucking champ and no one every laid a hand on him or, he has fought 15 year old girls all his life or, he has never been in a real fight ever! LOL. Now, I didn’t take him lightly. I take no one lightly as I said and this was a large man…bodybuilder type. But I definitely noticed the clean canvass I had to work with lol.
Gotta luv a clean canvas. Gives it away every time. It probably looked like a fucking Picasso after you were done with it! LOL

you sound like a bitch, its not the size of the dog that counts its the size of the fight in the dog, ive seen small quick guys beat the shit out of big cunts like you, size with out skill isnt shit in a street fight, he was probably a fighter and could have smashed your big ass. most big guys are soft mentally cos they never got tested when they were young never been bashed or man handled missed out on good learning opps.

Now, I am 24, but because someones 45 doesnt mean they are slow…or will get their ass kicked. I know alot of older dudes that straight fuck shit up. My one instructor is 62 years old and built like the incredible hulk. 5th degree judo 4th degree tkd, fomrer powerlifter. Another dude I train with is almost 40 and could easily compete at nationals. My old kickboxing instructor was like 50 and would beat most peoples asses.
X 2

My instructor is in his sixties and is tough as nails. He has definitely lost a step or two, but he makes up for it with his timing. I swear that man see shit in slow motion! His Doctoral dissertation was on predatory behavior… He was also a combat Marine. He would definitely fuck up 99% of these “MMA Guys”. Not that there’s anything wrong with the Octagon - It’s great entertainment and I love watching it as much as the next guy, but it is by no means reality.

Now, before all of you get your Tap Out brand panties in a bunch, allow me to make a few points. Our brains control our actions. Our brains are influenced by our genetics and our environment. A powerful experience will create a more powerful imprint upon our brain than an average experience. Which is a more powerful experience from the following two scenarios?:

(for the record, I have experienced BOTH of these scenarios first hand)

#1 Guy goes to his dojo or MMA gym or whatever, bows before he steps on the mat, rolls around/spars/bagwork for an hour, has his technique critiqued by senior students/instructor, maybe does some conditioning, grabs a beer/food with his buddies.

#2 Guy is in prison, guy is minding his business and decides it’s time to take a shower, while in the shower two convicted rapists who have been locked up for ten years with little else to do except hit the weight pile, eat and fuck new white guys come into the shower and ask if he’d prefer blood on their knives or shit on their dicks (both of which happens to be like 10" and semi-erect as they are stroking them in anticipation of the violence, oh yeah they are both HIV positive and have nothing to live for but the thrill of raping people) Thirty seconds later they are both bleeding on the floor of the shower and our guy is picking up the gold teeth that he knocked out of their grill so he can make a necklace.

Which is the more POWERFUL experience? Obviously the second. So what the fuck am I getting at? Neural network is what I’m getting at. The ability to tap into the part of your brain that will fight and kill. In the Go Rin No Sho, Musashi refers to it as the High Ground. It’s that place when the shit is about to go down, you slow your breathing, quiet your mind and let the animal out of it’s cage. You don’t think, you don’t fear, you just do what must be done.

The more times you are forced to go the the High Ground, the easier it is to return. Eventually you can just snap into it. It is a “bridge” between your reptilian brain and your cerebral cortex. That bridge is built with stress and fear. It’s supporting structure is knowing that if you fail you may die. It is made stronger by the fact that you are still alive. Each time the shit goes down it get’s stronger. Even if you lose. As long as you are still alive, the bridge is reinforced.

You can’t get that kind of stress in a fucking gym. No matter how tough you think you are, no matter how hard you train, in the back of your mind your reptilian brain is still sleeping. It hasn’t been woken up. Your life was never in danger. You won’t build that bridge (you may drop a few stones in the water, but nothing consistent)

That is the difference. If you combine the above experience with some serious training then you have something that is truly both beautiful and terrible to behold all at the same time. I don’t care how old you get, the fire in the belly doesn’t go quietly. You young fuckers should show a little respect.

Fixed

Strange how this Topic leads its own life. I had a problem with the attitude of that young small guy.

Now it seems a lot of guys (who consider themselves small apparently) take it personally and talk about those millions of times they’ve seen a small guy beat up a big guy.

It seems ALL small guys are dangerous, but this was not the point of this post.

We didn’t fight. I had a warrant (stupid traffic shit but it would have fucked up about 3 hours of my day), it was in my town (and for obvious and not so obvious reasons, I try not to get in trouble here) and the guy that was driving me wasn’t looking to t-man like even though he was a big boy - dude was with about 4 coworkers. “Clean face” backed off enough that I was satisfied I made my point - bitch repeatedly denied it was him driving past my house like an asshole (it was). After making a grown man lie, what more is there? But seriously, how can you be a fighter and be as clean as that? LOL Shit, I got wrecked better just playing basketball than he has in his so called fighting career.

Dude, we have to party lol but then again, it would probably be one of them destructive relationships where you’d end up back in jail and me in the hospital with a gun shot wound lol. I had a friend like that around high school. Every time we were together…smh. We just weren’t good for each other LOL.

Fuck it enough talk everyone who thinks they are tough meet at my house, on the first Sunday in July, last man/woman standing wins. We will settle who the bad ass is here god damn it.

Agree with Angry Chicken, I know a guy that’s between 65-70 yrs. old . When he was young he beat a couple dudes that tried to rob him to death, spent 8 yrs. in state penn. admits he may have had to kill a few more folks while there.I know of 5 more toughguys that screwed with relatives, friends or himself that came close to meeting their maker, broken arms, legs, fractured skulls etc.

This man does’nt frequent bars etc. because he really doesnt want to have to kill anyone else.Actually hes a nice dude ,would do anything for you if he liked you, likes to laugh and joke is about 5’8 185-190 .wide shoulders thick fists and forearms and calves.still does pushups sit ups etc.In his life has worked as bodyguard,enforcer.construction.owned own bodyshop.

I have seen him tell assholes from average hgt. to 6’6 300+ pnds. to step away or get fped up.I would rather have him backing one of my children or family members than any mma ,6’7 tkd teacher etc. cause i know how he thinks and that this dudes for real.He says if he cant handle’em his ball bat or 357 will. He’s sort of like a cowboy in the wrong time period, what our govt. is trying to breed out of our society. He’s one of your old school guys that dont trust junkies ,cops etc.
