Many of you know Eric Cressey from the Training and Nutrition Board. He recently has had an article published at johnberardi.com entitled “Budgeting for Bodybuilders.” It’s on John’s most recent site update (Sep 27), so check it out when you have some free time; it’s informative and a good read.
Thanks, everyone; it was welcomed relief after one of the worst days of my life.
Many thanks especially to Jason, Joel, and Mufasa for their help in making recommendations on how to turn my “sloppy copy” into a polished final version.
First of all, I’d like to thank Joel M. for bringing Eric’s
article to our attention. On another note: Haven’t visited
JMB’s website in a while - “Holy Cannoli,” has it ever
grown…it’s becoming quite a resource center!
About the article: Man, Eric has unquestionably taken into
account a lot things that “most” of us have flat-out over
looked! On a lighter note - I couldn’t help but laugh while
reading the part about figuring one’s gambling habits
into a supplement budget. Crap, I’ve sure been down
that road before…
If Vinatieri makes this field goal, I’ll be embarking upon a
SERIOUS MASS PHASE; I’ll pay my gym bill 3 months in
advance, order 3 bottles of MAG-10, 2 bottles each of Tribex
and “M”, plus 2 cases of GROW! If the Adman misses - Can you say “RENEGADE CUTTING PROGRAM”? I’ll eschew my gym dues… then it will be K-bells at the State Park for me, Bro! Supplements?
Heck, I’ll be hunting my lunch with a stick at the park!
(Thank God I quit betting the damn games!)
Read the article - and “WHOA” (said with more emotion than Keanu Reeves…) - JB’s site is quite a read overall. Lots of stuff there. Anywhoos, so I read Eric’s article…and…sigh…first thought in my mind: gotta cut down or stop the beer. sigh That should save me some $$.
