If we could get some Precision Nutrition articles for endurance athletes, that would be golden. I personally don’t do anything before I drink my Surge when I get back from a run. As a result of muscle loss paranoia though, I end up carrying more belly than I need.
Because of the fact that good portion of the members don’t care about anything related to endurance athletics, some of the lifting / nutrition advice is so specialized, and there is so much room to blow the lid off of the endurance sports world, I think that it is a great candidate for an Alpha cell.

There may be a few still around that check in but just don’t post anymore.
But you don’t know until they decide to get online and check out the forums. I doubt we’ll see Patricia, Goldberg and several of the others again, but I think there are a few more of them out there and plenty more that have been around since 2003 or earlier.
I’ve never been a big poster, and I didn’t even register(circa 2005) until the local store sold out and stopped carrying Biotest products (it was a good way to support both T-Nation/Biotest and my buddy’s store). There are, and have been for a while, all most too many threads that ask the same things, its called a “search engine” for a reason.
there really is no need for any other T-Cells right now. just about anything can be enveloped by what already is in place. if youre a mountain biker post your shit in GAL or GTFO.
unless you want to make the TOTALLY XTREME BRUH forum where we can talk about hangliding, horseback gallops through nebraska on acid or xtreme walking.

What about a military T-Cell? You could call it “The War Room.”
I’m not in the military, but I have family who serve, and I have seen a number of posts talking about the issues being in the armed forces presents to a strength/physique oriented individual. It could be useful for them to have a specific area to talk about PT, deployment, or just make fun of civilians.
I’d suggest that the entry requirement is simply active or previous service.
Not to take away from your idea but if its not about training or competing then how is it not “off-topic” ?
I don’t even think that my suggestion really warrants a ‘T-Cell’.
I was actually under the impression that T-Cells were going to be locale based groups of members who meet up outside of the web. Well before they clarified and created T-Cell Alpha that is.

Not sure if you’re responding to me or some other previous post, but since mine is right above yours I’m gonna assume.
Currently, yes, it is off topic, because there is no specified section for it. I would like that to change.
Politics and world issues are “off topic” but they have their own forum, Sex and the Male Animal is “off topic” but it has its own forum.
and if a military forum were created, it would certainly have more “t-men” (i hate that term) than rate my physique, which also has its own forum.

I think it’s a great idea for a forum the more I think about it it doesn’t make for a bad T-Cell either really. LOL @ the Rate my physique comment.
as far as I’m concerned, T-Nation is enough of a T-Cell for me. I come here because I’m a guy who likes to listen to and contribute to various ideas. I love this site simply because we’re all extremely different people with the same basic goals, which makes it so people with different mindsets can shed a little light on those who might think a little differently. I think most of us here are open-minded enough to deal with that, as I haven’t really seen it to be an issue here.
I know I don’t have the highest post count and I haven’t been a member long, but no one has given me shit about that or insulted me in a serious manner when I’ve said something stupid. Segregating the forum might only cause a loss of shared ideas and make it harder for casual members like me to get anything real out of this forum.
I posted earlier that I think the one T-Cell is enough for now, and I think the growing pains evident in T-Cell Alpha bear that out.
The issues of tribunals and personal bones to pick have somewhat slowed the momentum of great training discussion in that cell. Having said that, I think things will sort themselves out there and it will be just fine.
But I think a little patience is warranted before even thinking about developing other cells, assuming they’re actually needed, something of which I’m doubtful is the case.
