Enough With The 'Spartan Training'

A quote from Gerard Butler…

I?ve been so proud of this project right from when we first started because of what everybody was trying to do. Right down to the beard. We had a beard that was short, sexy and strong but we said: ?Fuck that. Let?s go for the big beard.?

I saw the movie last night and enjoyed it. The guys looked good, but many of the 6 packs just looked a little digitally enhanced or something. Something wasn’t quite right. And I definitely didn’t think they looked big enough to warrant all the steroid talk in this thread.

I thought the same thing about the digital enhancement. In some of the scenes, all you could see were rows and rows of abdominal muscles (not that I’m complaining, I only went to see the movie for the physiques anyway).

Anyway, why would the actors need steroids when they can just get their muscles enhanced digitally?[/quote]

There is no such thing as “digitally enhancing” a muscle. It’s all camera tricks, and lighting effects. If you tan and oil someone up, shine a bright enough light at the perfect angle, and use expensive ass lenses at perfect angles, you can make them look pretty jacket.

or just cover yourself with bronzer!

come on guys…this was a dead thread for a reason…just let it die.
