Elbow Spur

I recently have had a lot of pain in my left elbow. Went to the Doc, got an Xray.Had a spur in my elbow.

I can still bench, anything over 140kg get a fair amount of pain.
No dips,french press etc.

Has anyone had this injury, how did you overcome it. Was surgury required to fix it?

At the moment i am taking any anti inflammatories. Have to see the doctor this week.

Cant really help you, but id wait to see the doctor this week and get his advice.

And you should probably stop all pressing movements.

I’ve got something the same, I was just getting to all new RM’s with bench and DB curls. Then my elbow started hurting so bad, felt like tennis elbow or tor something, that I had to stop for about three months. Sucks lost all my gains. I’ve just started again but the outside elbow still doesnt feel right, like maybe it healed wrong. Any lower curl movements and I have to stop. Kills some workouts.

So what ever you find out at the Doc would be great to know.

Ive been resting , icing and taking anti inflammatories it and it feels better.
But will not be taking any risks with it.

Honestly, have you simply done a lot of research on the topic? When I injured my back, I was told I’d never lift again… the doctor was an idiot.

Figure out what it is that is the root of the problem and really do some research. You’d be surprised, you might figure out a way to treat it.

Good luck, this kind of stuff is really a pain to deal with.
